I liked that this came with piping and the pulley. It looks durable, but lighter than my old OEM. It was easier to install than to get the original out, but that is usually the case. It seems to be performing OK. It was not terribly noisy at first, but had some whine, as noted in the supplied brochure. After a few minutes driving and making turns, the noise stopped completely, and now it is quiet. So far, I'd say it is a good value for the money, especially compared to local auto store prices.

... well for now, I had bout one from a different vendor ... just like this one it fit perfectly and worked great, for about 6 months then started 'howling' ... it was refunded and then I thought I better buy from a different vendor ... well the part came in the same looking box as the one from the initial vendor ... and it fits and works great ... now if it also would last that would be fantastic :)

put this on a 12 honda accord for a pump that was making a lot of noise and geting jumpy steering (pulsing) It comes with the pulley so its a really quick job 2 bolts and the belt. It was way quieter but still had a slight hum pretty sure most of these hondas are never totally quiet. Been on the car a few months now and no leaks nothing has changed so figured it was time for a review. At the price and now seeing how its been going I feel it was a great deal vrs some other brands sold on here.

Installed in 2009 Odyssey EX-L. Works fine but I had to install it twice because the mfr did not include the O ring on the high pressure side. The unit comes filled with fluid so this o ring is not something most people would check for. You have to disassemble the part (or install it and notice the leaking!) to notice the o ring isn’t there. I expect an OEM replacement part to arrive ready to install so docking four stars here. Hope the one star review gets seller’s attention and maybe some purchasers’ too. For purchasers, an O’Reilly o ring kit DOR 926-157 for the outrageous sum of $13.49 did the trick and then the 2nd installation worked great. One month in, the pump is working fine, so if you read this review and know you’ll need to deal with this issue in advance, this pump might be a workable option for you. Just buy the o ring from Amazon at the same time so you don’t pay 3x like I did. I am including the instructions for installation from the mfr. They DO NOT alert you to the missing o ring or tell you to install one. (Another section of the instructions that deals with noisy pumps suggests replacing the o ring as a possible remedy). Very annoying given that my odyssey belt tensioner is on its last legs - extra hour of work - hope this review save you from the same fate.

Worked good for my 2004 Honda accord! A year now and still going like new! Definitely worth with the price!

The pump fits and operates perfectly on the CVR-2006 model, with absolutely no turbine noise or vibrations. I had spent almost four months dealing with the previous pump, which was performing terribly and making all sorts of sounds, to the point where I thought the entire steering rack had also been damaged—fortunately, that was not the case! Why the four stars? The connector/outlet for the high-pressure hose is not the correct fit for my vehicle model. I solved this by simply installing the one I had been using on the old pump. All Honda CVR-2006 users should be aware of this minor detail. La bomba calza y funciona perfectamente en el modelo CVR-2006, sin ruidos de turbina ni vibraciones. Estuve cerca de 4 meses con la bomba anterior funcionando muy mal, escuchando toda clase de ruidos, llegando a pensar que el cajetin de la direccion tambien habria sufrido daños, pero no fue asi AFORTUNADAMENTE!. Por que no le doy 5 estrellas?, el conector o salida de manguera (alta presion) no es el adecuado para mi modelo de vehiculo, lo cual solucione instalando la que ya tenia y usaba de la bomba anterior.
