This is a FUN movie if you have a little girl around Judy's age. Don't listen to the critics or the overly stuffy reviewers disecting this into an emotional journey of rights and wrongs and just accept, this is a little kids world. Judy sets out to have the best summer ever, and then her friends parents throw a wrench in her plans with a unexpected trip for 2 of her BFF's. This leaves Judy scrambling to have a "NOT Bummer Summer". To top it off, her parents annouce her Aunt Opal is going be watching her AND her brother since they need to leave suddenly to tend to her ailing Grandparent for...you guessed it...the summer.Now Judy is so upset that her summer of 1000 thrills has been derailed, what is she to do? Make it a "Judu Moody NOT so Bummer Summer", that's what. And if you can sit back pop the popcorn and enjoy it with your daughter, it's a fun little movie.

I love watching this with my kids. Ages 15, 13, and 5. Fun family friendly storyline!

This movie was quite entertaining and funny for both kids and adults as well! Love that it’s on Blu-ray! Highly recommended!

I don't know what it is, but there's just something about this movie that has undeniable charm!

What has happen to summer movies for kids? I remember going to movies with my friends to watch movies like Nack to the future, one crazy summer etc. Just fun movies for kids. Most were geared for boys but my sister would come with her friends. This movie is a great movie for both. Geared towards girls my son loves to watch too. Kind of along the line of Diary of a Wimpy kid fun. Ages 5-12 even though today at twelve most kids are sophisticated but they'll love it too.

I have no idea why but my toddler absolutely LOVES this movie. Since she was about 18 months, my daughter has been so fascinated with this movie after seeing it on Disney a few times. It's been about 5 months and she still loves it even after watching it at least 30 times. It's the only thing that can keep her calm and still for over an hour. I had to buy it.

My kids first stumbled on this film on Netflix this past summer and were instantly hooked. Within a week everyone in our family had seen it more than once and the kids were reciting lines! At some point Netflix pulled it and I had to make the move and buy it on Amazon. We just watched it that much. Everyone in the family could potentially love this movie. I wish there were more of them!

Kids love the movie!

Not sure why this has not been released yet as Asda are selling it now but wanted to review it as my kids liked it so much.The story is about Judy and her two brothers who are being looked after by their aunt Opal over the summer whilst their parents are in California and follows Judy's mission to not have a bummer summer.This film was just so much fun and made you want to join them on all their exciting adventures from themeparks and waterparks to hunts for Bigfoot and elephant rides, I don't think any child would not enjoy this film and like me, I'm sure most mums and dads will secretly love it too.I highly recommend anyone with kids to get this, we loved it.
