This Duttek adapter works in that it allows me to connect my latop (via the adapter) to a HDMI cable into the back of my TV. Unfortunately, either the Duttek adapter or my laptop's mini HDMI port is upside down. As such, the adapter goes under my laptop, meaning that my laptop has to sit squashed on top of the HDMI cable. This is fine as I'm not using my laptop for work - only for watching TV. But it's not ideal. From a technical point of view then, the Duttek adapter is working perfectly well. It may be that the port on my laptop has been installed the wrong way around, but my suggestion is that you check your device against the second photo of the adapter that I uploaded (with it on my hand) to make sure that the adapter will suit your purposes.

Perfect for helping to hide cables.

I understand this is a really small adapter; but I've used others in the past and they've had all sorts of strange problems (connection dropping and such). With this one; nothing of the sort. I've paired it with a portable monitor so that when I need to use the portable monitor I don't need to go looking for a mini-HDMI cable; this allows me to use just a regular HDMI cable. Brilliant. It is also good for hiding away the HDMI cable on your desktop and keeping your cables neat and tidy. Highly recommended.

Lo utilizzo per collegare il PC portatile ad un monitor esterno e non da nessun problema. Il segnale video arriva bene e senza errori, perfetto!

Perfetto. Però bisogna stare attenti al verso dei connettori; vi potreste ritrovare con l'adattatore rivolto verso il lato sbagliato se doveste usarlo su un tablet o un monitor, vale a dire che vi ritrovereste il cavo HDMI o qualsiasi cosa connettiate rivolto sul lato schermo. Per il resto tutto ok converte da HDMI a mini HDMI a forma di u in modo da nascondere gli accessori nel lato posteriore dei tablet/monitor

Utilizzato per collegare un monitor portatile nascondendo i cavi nel retro e non collegati nel fianco dove il connettore potrebbe essere vittima di rotture accidentali. Ho reso il monitor molto piu' maneggevole. Misure perfette allo scopo. Nello specifico l'ho utilizzato per collegare una Fire Stick al monitor portatile.
