I’m a student nail tech. This thing is great. I bring my dirty implements home clean with soap, soak in barbicide, and put them in this for 30min at the highest temperature. 428 degrees F. It does give off the heat smell when in use, but goes away quickly when the machine shuts off. I would not put files in this, but any metal implements and file bits can go in it just fine.

First I’d like to simply say this is a very nice sterilizer. The wooden handles and overall black color give a sleek look to this item so it goes well in my nail room. It heats up to very high temperatures as advertised. Only thing is when it’s sterilizing it does let off a noticeable smell, almost one of an easy bake oven or something lol. But it goes away shortly after. Overall, love this one.

Got it for my husband’s tattoo equipment, he loves it.
