The Japanese Ninja Surprise: 3 (Flat Stanley's Worldwide Adventures) Paperback – Illustrated, 1 Sept. 2009

Bought for my Greek grandson aged 7 who is bi-lingual to a point but because he lives in Greece his Greek is stronger. This book caught his imagination and he began to read and enjoy it. Any of the Stanley books are worth the money. I have 2 Grandsons and have bought a selection for each so they can read each others books when they visit each other. Therefore I would say they are a safe choice for grandparents looking for a reasonably priced little gift.

The little ish person I got this for loves it and recommends it to all fans of Flat Stanley and also ninjas!Anybook that opens the door into the lifelong gift that is being an avid reader is good in my.......book! Oooh that is poor, even my joke loving 7 yr old wouldn't have been that corny.....

My daughter really likes this series. She was able to read this book without any major issues other than place names which isnt a big deal. I would recommend this (and the series in general) to readers of about 8 years who are pretty solid readers. The books are a bit long, so without an interest in reading a child could not "get around" to finishing it, but for those who like to read these are fun and interesting stories.

Flat Stanley books will always be a favourite with children.
