Great for the price.
Worked well and reliably. Just don't let it get wet. Accidentally put it down on a wet spot in the mens room, that was the end of it.

Simple and Uncomplicated
This is my third Newer TT560 over the last ten years. Extremely simple to use and downright reliable. No unreadable menus on a blanked out LCD screen. No TTL capability. Wireless flash triggers available from other third party manufacturers. PC cords and other extras readily available and not proprietary.

Great Flash for Backup or Beginners
This isn't the most feature-rich flash on the market, but works very well for beginners in photography or to throw in your pack as a backup. I'd absolutely recommend it to friends an family for these purposes.Simple, plug and play operation along with Neewer quality make it very worth the money. Included stand expands versatility as well. I use it on a Canon 5D Mark III.

Great flash!
This is my first time ever using a flash and it was super easy to work it without needing instructions. The flash is powerful and seems to be good quality and durable! Shipping was fast and came a day earlier than expected!!

Great budget flash
Compared to some orger budget options this flash is great. It charges up fast and even has a sync cable port so you can use it as an off camera flash. Overall great flash that can help you progress as a photgrapher.

Great flash - never mind "for the price"
I bought this flash unit when it cost about $30 a few years ago just to check it out. I don't use flash much and definitely don't get into synching but this is so simple to use and experiment with. I can experiment and adjust things more quickly than the expensive Nikon flash units with deep menus. Works great when I set an old D7000 to rear synch, too.

Useful Somewhere, I Suppose
Disclaimer: I’m an experienced photographer who has sold professionally and now at shows but I’ve never had occasion to use a flash or strobe. Now that I finally broke down and entered the modern world of camera equipment, I figured I’d update my kit to include a strobe because they are claimed to be wonderful both as devices to freeze action (hummingbirds, etc.), to add good light to macro so one can use shorter exposure times and also add fill light to otherwise murky scenes.Since I’ve seen these claims now for many years, I’m guessing they are accurate for somebody but not for me. I can’t see any point in this device aside from maybe doing the bird freeze as a hummingbird approaches one of our feeders. The test camera for this strobe was a Canon R7 – a modern mirrorless. Now Canon makes its own lines of strobes so maybe it disables its cameras for use with other brands. I can’t say but Neewer has this camera listed as compatible.Cut to the chase: this only works (flashes) in one camera mode – full automatic. So the camera, through its AE which is what this single mode is about, measures for exposure and then takes a decent picture. Add this strobe and the scene washes out as the new light’s added to AE setting. Please see the posted image which is representative of what this flash did for me. It took a properly exposed scene and moved to the right enough to blow out (clip) extensive elements ruining the image. The part to the left is the non-flash image. The part to the right is the flash added. This would be useful if it worked on manual (M) but since it doesn’t, I can’t see any use for it. There is no way the flash and camera work together to optimize the shot. I had heard that happens but again, not for me or maybe not this combination. While I spent a lot of time wandering around trying to get some results from this flash that would have made it worth the awkwardness it creates in the camera's balance, I never did. This may be wholly my own ignorance but I’m able to move the mode dial to M and note a flash doesn’t go off.
