Koa Kava has many great kava products to offer. Vanuatu Waka is particularly enjoyable because of the immense relaxation it offers. It has a slight hint of the volcanic earth, from which it comes. Taste is very tolerable, with a hint of anesthetic effect on the tongue. Overall this is my go-to kava every time. Koa Kava is also an amazing company to deal with, super easy and more than responsive to any questions you may have. I couldn’t speak higher of a company. Koa Kava always offers premium quality. Highly recommend any Kava from this business!

First off just so others know, this and all Kava makes your mouth numb and looks, smells and tastes like mud. It also takes a couple times to feel the effects. I personally like the taste but it’s an acquired taste. With that said, this is strong stuff and I don’t use a lot to make a batch. I just add two tablespoons to a cheese cloth and massage it into a bowl with 2 cups warm water for five minutes. Add some milk at the end and enjoy. I have not done Kava in a while so first night I just got a numb mouth and mild buzz. By 3rd night nicely buzzed so much I stopped and saved half the batch for for the next day. Just want to let others know it takes a couple days in a row to build up in your system. Enjoy!

It does relax but it also gives an upset stomach and pretty bad next day lethargy. It truly reminds me of a tudei kava. I have used kava for over 10 years and tried over 20 different brands, traditional, micronized and extracts. Overall this is at the bottom of the list, there are much better brands on Amazon that give desired effects without this many negatives. For me this will go in the garbage, just not worth the negative effects.

I have tried all the KOA offerings. The Tonga is the lightest but also gives me a bit of anxiety in higher doses. The Fiji has a very nice feeling, however causes me a tad nausea. This Vanuatu is heavier feeling with no anxiety or nausea. However, it leaves me more groggy the next day than the others. Most anxiety reducing. All of the offerings are a great value.

I have found the kava strain for me with my name written on it! Tried so many different fancy named stuff only to be disappointed or meh at best, but this waka Vanuatu is off the charts for me imo and in my 13 years of kava usage the Vanuatu strain has always made me feel the best! I don't like Fiji kava and Hawaiian kava is alright, just way overpriced for the effects it gives. Keep doing what you're doing Koa Kava, I am a very satisfied customer I won't be looking any further for the perfect product cause I finally found it!!!!!

I was excited to order my first ever bag of Vanuatu Koa Kava Kava Premium Noble Waka Kave Tea. On Amazon it is advertised as "delivering an unmatched calm that soothes the mind and body, guiding you to deep relaxation." Furthermore, it's "perfect for unwinding after a long day and promoting a peaceful night's sleep." Shortly after my first package of Kava arrived, I mixed a glass of Kava in my new AluBall Kava Maker while carefully following the instructions. My first experience was good. My mood was enhanced, I felt relaxed and slept well that night. One week later my second experience was quite the opposite; I didn't feel relaxed and as the Kava wore off I began to feel irritable and had difficulty sleeping. Since then, I've mixed two more batches and noticed that I feel irritable, overly nervous and unable to sleep. Perhaps I got bad batch? I dunno. I was really looking forward to unwinding after a long day and enjoying a peaceful night's sleep.

This is one of my favorite kava root on Amazon.The other one is the next 1.With the next highest reviews, the strength is good.The effectiveness obviously good the ease of use it's on how you make it.It's not easy to make but that's kava.A little trick on how to make just one glass for yourself. As you take a teaspoon, you put it in a cup, you add a little bit of water and you press the spoon against the side of the inside of the cup. with that water over and over again until it makes a thick viscous liquid. You keep doing that for about 5 minutes and then you strain it out into a tea strainer. You shake the tea strainer in the liquid after you add more water .So you will need two cups. And then you drink that.

First time trying kava and first off it is very hard to get down. Hard to describe the taste other than just bad. Used lime juice after the first shot and that helped but not much. I made a very strong batch according to the directions. It did numb my mouth instantly and was very spicy as described but other than that I didn't really feel any effects. Maybe a little drowsiness after an hour or more but it was close to bed time anyway. Definitely not worth the prep time and taste for the negligible effects in my humble opinion.
