It’s a pull over
It was difficult to find some small enough for my grandson. I prefer the ones at zippered up the front, but I can see where this one has a little bit better chest protection, so you just have to get used to putting it on differently than the other ones seems to be well built. I’m happy with it.

What in the Sewing Nightmare is This?
The media could not be loaded. A sewing catastrophe apparently happened with the back panel. The strings are sewn across the plastic panel, I would assume accidentally but also the strings are pulling out. Meaning, I am guessing cutting the string mess will just make the whole thing unravel more. I got this for my son's birthday and now he won't have a working on in time. So disappointed.
