Synergy 03-13 8525-01 Dodge Truck Heavy Duty Steering Kit (2003-2013)

Would do again quicker if I could. Love the build quality.

Installation was a breeze. Direct bolt on. Instructions, who needs those, but if you do, it's easy. Just make sure your measurements are exact before Re moving your old on so you set the new one in correctly.I installed this along with a Thuren track bar kit on a old 01' Dodge Ram 2500 with a horrible death wobble and now she rides and steers like new.I highly recommend you get the Fox steering stabilizer. Don't go with a cheap one like Rough Country or Rancho.

They seem to have addressed the issue people were having with the drag link falling forward. One of the ends on mine won't allow side to side movement. This seems to keep it in place. Mine stands perfectly. Didn't have to clock the ends back to hold it up. The steering is beautiful in my truck now. No death wobble since install. Been about 2 weeks now no problems. Fox stabilizer installed with it. Changing pitman arm was toughest part. Looks nice but performs great too.

Heavy duty

I no longer feel like I'm trying to control a turbo charged beast with dental floss buuuuuuut I've had the kit for a little while and I also get the drag link flopping issue that everyone talks about.I emailed synergy support and the guy Chris Steimle was 0 help and talked to me like I had installed wrong and am to blame for the double adjuster wearing down. I explained that I did install so that the joint on the pitman side was tilted completely forward, holding the drag link away from the tie rod but when it's maxed out like that and your suspension still pulls down that direction, it spins it loose. It's a design flaw and they're blaming the install. As you can see by other reviews, it's a common issue and I shouldn't have to put extra pressure on a joint to keep the drag link from flopping.

Very well packaged, very heavy duty. Goes on easy if you know anything about turning wrenches. The parts are well made, welds are clean, finish is clean. I will update review after 3 or 4 hundred miles to reflect exactly how the kit does.

Very robust and easy to install. Huge improvement in my steering.

This steering kit and a Fox steering damper fixed my Dodge megacab death wobble. Follow instructions provided with product and installation should be easy. Synergy parts are much better than OEM.
