Doesn't melt foamboard
I don't know if foam board suddenly changed or uhu changed. I've been using the standard uhu for years making scenery, buildings and scatter for wargame tables. The, this year the foam board started melting. First time ever. Pretty sure something changed. So, a quick hunt here on Amazon and this came up in the search. It's not cheap, but then what is these days? It is also very strange. UHU has a very particular smell to it and this is not it. This smells, well, greasy. It doesn't smell like glue. That's fine at the end of the day as it's supposed to stick stuff, not add a new aroma to the house. The next thing I noticed is that this feels greasy as well. Users of UHU may be familiar with the "peeling skin" effect of uhu glue if you get it on your fingers. This doesn't do that, in fact this doesn't resemble standard uhu in any way shape or form. Well, other than it sticks stuff. It is extremely unpleasant to get any of this on your fingers, it,'s slimey, greasy and strange. However, it sticks foam board and pretty much anything you want on the foam board just fine, it also, doesn't melt it. I tried this across a couple types of foam board and some polystyrene with the same result. It sticks, it doesn't melt. As such this is worth the unpleasantness. You get a reasonable amount of glue in the tube and I'm still using the first tube ( I ordered six) That has lasted across, approximately 35 a3 foam boards and assorted pieces of card and other materials. As such, it is worth the price. It works, and you don't often get something that works 'out of the tube' without problems.

Good stuff for foam rc planes.
I accidentally walked into one of my rc planes and broke the wing straight off. The foam crumbled sow when I put it together, there was lots of gaps. I just piled this glue in and rubbed it around. I used a bit of packing tape to keep the wing in place and a few clamps. After a few hours, I removed the tape and clamps. The wing is solid. The only issue is it doesn't have as much flex as the undamaged wing but honestly it makes no difference to the flight. This glue expands. So you need to leave it a few hours. It's not quick setting. If you are looking for glue that sets instantly for foam and is strong. There isn't any for foam. Use this stuff if you are into flying rc planes. Leave it to sit and you will be happy with it's performance once it sets.

Good product - be patient with it for best results. A solid bond will take an hour or more.
It’s a very good product. Just some notes for anyone who’s new to using this stuff: It does bond really well, but you will need to be patient with it. With my experience of using this on 5mm foam board, it’s best to scrape off the top paper layer of the foam on both surfaces that are being glued together and then apply a thin amount on each and keep in place to set for more than 15 mins. After a few hours it’s bonded really well. It still works on the paper of course, but there is that chance that the paper may tear off from the foam board if a lot of force is used. I was using this glue to make static model aircraft from 5mm foam board and so far it’s a great product. Key is to apply and press the surfaces together before the glue gets lumpy and dries up (as the solvent evaporates). This is only my personal experience with it and what worked for me. I WILL definitely order this again when I run out. No issues

sticky quick but even better after a few days to cure. I repaired my draco 800 many times. when it was time to replace it with a new one I tried taking some parts glued with UHU and the bond was extreme!! It's replaced my foamtac and foam 2 foam now

Works as claimed. Sticks thermopore or styrofoam without melting it. Can be used on other plastics as well.
