We have lift off!!!
Always loved their products. Root rescue blend is so airy yet, you can smell its packed with the good stuff for root growth. Packed these ridiculously expensive Micans in with root rescue to propogate. Less than a week and these ladies have new growth. My seemingly perilis white monster monstera has 3 roots starting aswell. Effective? Yes! Amount and price? On the spendy side but it works! No guessing games.

Cleanest Quality Coco Chip Bark
I loooove. I mix it with peat moss. I really like it, it’s just, you have to pay good attention. The bark pieces can either get dry fast or stay wet. It really depends on the weather. I felt it helped my plants grow faster and looked bigger and better. It was hard to find coco chips anywhere else that was this high quality.

Nourished houseplants & saved a few of my plants
I had purchased this fertilizer to try and immediately liked how it helped nourish my houseplants. After a couple weeks of using it on various different plants I had noticed that some really loved it, including my special gigantic marigold plant that my daughter had started from seed and gave to me as a mother's day gift this year. I saw more flowers blooming, and it just looked so much more lively! My best south facing windows have radiators that are covered and have been great for placing several of my plants on during the warmer seasons, but this year I planned on making window shelves and putting humidity trays on the radiator covers so I could continue using the best light for all my plants since I have so many now. I began making them in late September and expressed my excitement to my boyfriend and told him that it would take a bit of time to do, but would be done with everything by the time it got cold and asked him not to turn the heat on, but if he had to, to please move my plants off the radiators. I went out one night in late October and came home and was wondering why my prized tradescantia plant was on the table, in which he replied "oh, I turned the heat on"...mind you, all of my other plants were still on the radiators. I went into panic mode and saw that all of my plants were horribly damaged. My tradescantia plant was not moved until some time after the heat was turned on, and had to be snipped back and leaves plucked off. I had to remove over a pound of damaged plant and I stopped halfway through and wept. I spent over a year babying and propagating the plant and felt so sad and disappointed. The next couple days I spent cutting off damaged pieces of my plants and used the Noot fertilizer on all my babies, which I could tell really helped them a lot. What was left of what I could save started to perk up and a few of them started to become more lively over the next couple weeks. I can see how much this fertilizer is helping my plants and I am grateful that I had it in my possession at the time of the attempted murder of all of my beloved houseplants.

Chunky soil mix
This soil mix is chunkier than I thought. Great for plants that need lots of air flow and have root rot potential. I mixed it with "normal" soil and my basic indoor plants are loving it. Bag is small, so watch for the oz/lb and what you need for your project.

Great soil.
Great soil very pricey for size bag.

All my plants will eventually be in this mix!
Wow. Now that we got that out of the way, I have so many good things to say about this mix. I planted this sansevieria a few weeks back. It’s sitting in a room that gets decent light. Today I was doing to clean the table it sits on, I pick up the pot to give it a once over. I notice white roots sticking out the pot. No way! This thing was a rhizome when I planted it and had brown old tattered roots. Take it out of the pot and MY MIND IS BLOWN! Many many healthy white beautiful roots covering the rhizome!! I’ve put a few plants in this mix and just left them. Now I want to go check them all. This soiless mix is amazing. I don’t have bugs near these plants and the roots say they are happy, very happy. I’m no longer worried or skeptical of this mix, it’s the S#!+ hands down. I know this company has had its share of public issues and many folks were turned off by that, the subs, and all the other things. I am a human and from what I’ve read, this company is trying to make amends and I’m happy to know that as I wish to continue to use this product. Atleast we can share in our love for plants. If you love your plants, they need this mix.

My Plants Seem To Like BUT
My Plants Seem To Like BUT there were bugs inside of the bag. Unfortunately, I cannot risk infestation and have to find an alternative. It also has an extremely overpowering and overwhelmingly foul smell. It does NOT go away for a few days. My living room smelled like a cow and/or horse stable for days. And the smell remains after that, albeit faint, if you get close enough to your plants. It’s pretty repulsive. If there were no bugs, I’d eventually search for an alternative off the strength of the smell alone.

I was skeptical but this is a great potting medium
I'm fairly new to indoor plant keeping and I was terrified to change from soil to something that looked like... well, not soil. I was struggling with fungus gnats and root rot (I love my plants to death, literally) and after a couple plants succumbed to root rot, I decided to make the switch. So far I've transplanted a dragon tree, snake plants, a couple dracaenas, golden pothos, silver pothos, anthurium, african violet, and a syngonium. They're all doing amazing and have grown noticeably since the change. It's also taken care of my fungus gnat issues. I plan on repotting every plant in my collection in noot mix. I also have been water propagating and I've found that the roots handle it better when going from water to noot mix. I'd say the African violets were most sensitive of the change, I think because their roots were so delicate. Little but often watering worked well during the transition for them. Overall though, I'm really happy with noot :)

I read through the reviews and thought the person who said they had growth overnight is probably exaggerating. They aren't. That was my experience too - I'm absolutely stunned.

I like the mix, just transferred my succulents to this soil about a week ago so can’t say how it performs long term. The mix stanks! But I did notice that the smell fades after it’s out if the bag for a while. I can still smell it after watering but I’m sure it’ll fade completely with time. The description does say it’s pre-soaked so it makes sense that it smells. UPDATE - after a few months of using this mix I can confirm that the smell fades completely. It’s been a great mix for my succulents.

If you are tired of buying huge bark pieces and want a product that actually fits nicely around orchid plant roots, here it is! Transplanted my orchids two weeks ago and can see a change in them already. Lots of new growth. Plants are very happy. I will never buy Miracle Gro, Sun Bulb or Pro Mix Orchid Medium again. NOOT is sooo much easier to work with. Ten stars!
