Thickness helps with the cutting wheels
I like the thickness of this ruler. It helps when I'm running the cutting wheel along it. Other rulers & some straight edges are to thin and the wheel just rides up over them. I was using a wooden straight edge but the wheel tended to trim off slivers of wood while cutting.

Works great and a great size
This is a great ruler. The ruler is 18 x 3 and it works great. The numbering on the ruler is black with a white outline so you can see the numbers on dark and light material. The ruler is thick enough so it will not break easily. I am glad I bought this ruler and it was very cheap.

Accurate Ruler Markers
I bought this and another 6x24 Fiskars ruler and I love that I can put them together in multiple configurations and the markings always line up perfectly. The only thing I would recommend for this ruler is those adhesive rubber things under it as these slide on top of fabric very easily. Planning to still buy the other shapes to match this one.

Great Quilting Tool
Great straight edge for cutting fabric. It stayed stable on the fabric which was important. Markings are clear. Good addition to a quilting toolset.
