Loved the book. But it’s definitely for a kid that can read really well. I had to read it with my second grader. I would say it’s for ages 10 and up

The media could not be loaded. I got this children’s axolotl fact book for my granddaughter’s 6th birthday coming up. She loves axolotls so I was happy to find this book on Amazon.The book has lots of information about axolotls in it, including their habitat, diet, behaviors, how to care for them, and information about their health.It also has several pages of fun activities at the back of the book.My granddaughter is turning 6 and I think she will be able to read quite a lot of this fact book. But I would say that the reading level is probably better matched to an 8-12 year old.The only thing that would have made this book better is if it had color photos of axolotls in it. Only the cover is in color.I’m happy with this fact book for kids and I think my granddaughter is going to like it a lot.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I bought this for a 4th grader I tutor who loves Axolotls. Good reading level for that age and filled with lots of facts. Liked the pictures but felt a few could be in color vs. black and white.
