That can't be correct. What is the depth (or height)?** A: The height is as shown in photo and specs is 2.2 in. The width is 5.7 in. The length is 8.5 in. **Q: Are the containers big enough to fit a whole meal?** A: Honestly it really depends on what your whole meal consists of. I got these for a co-worker bc she always brings me food & I must've had 7/8 of her containers. She used one in place of your traditional Thnaksgiving Plate. Everythings in that bad boy. It is just one large compartment. They're deep w/a secured lid. Worth the money. Go for it. **Q: can these put in dishwasher on lower tray?** A: I always use the bottom rack of the dishwasher for these containers. Has not been a problem for me. Love the size of these containers, too. Perfect for storing leftovers. **Q: Do you make a 2 cup version?** A: I bought these and thought they were smaller. A 16 oz or for 2 cups like the size of a Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowl. WRONG. I keep all of the old Jimmy Deans and reuse them for freezing small portions & 1 serving size. I want some with lids so I don't use plastic wrap on them. I am returning this double order I purchased. I am getting these OTOR containers instead. Have very good reviews and can go directly from freezer to microwave. I found these OTOR's on Amazon after I had received the to large ones that hold 32 oz or 4 cups.
