I like to think that as a person I am not too easily influenced by social media…. But as with the majority of us we are SO susceptible to great marketing…However, taking this product on face value as it arrived I had that “ah ha!” Moment on my own.I started the process from a skeptical standpoint because I am a makeup novice. I am a 30 something Mum who is by no means fully polished and always looking Insta Ready!For starters; despite the very affordable price tag I was delighted by the packaging. It is simple, but sleek and I would say that the instructions that appear on the back of the packaging are sufficient enough to direct any new user. (Obviously the product will require a certain amount of practice and experimentation to work out what your optimum amount is. It will be individual so I would not state a specific amount in my review.)The range of colour is ideal, with more muted through to daring night time shades. There is good variation in the pink pallet. I personally love that the set includes an orange shade.The tubes themselves are very sensitive so do not require a huge squeeze to pump the lip stain out. It comes out evenly however, for best results I would say using a lip brush would be useful. This may have also prevented the stain from getting on to my teeth- however it is very easy to remove with a quick, light wipe so the product is not losing any stars from me!What I love is that there is an element of fun to applying the stains. It is playful and a little bit silly! In the best possible way! I was determined to achieve a one-piece peel! It could be slightly messy but going with that being a user-issue! I am not hugely experienced with using lip stains. I feel like these are fabulous “starter sets” so to speak, for people who are new to the makeup medium.The stain went tacky pretty quickly, especially on my bottom lip; offering an easy to grab starting point for the peel. The top lip didn’t dry as well, though for both lips I was able to peel in one piece. The difference was that the bottom lip was a pulling action and for the top lip I had to push and almost massage it off.I think I applied the cheek stain in the wrong place or shape (thinking back the video I had previously seen the video showed a circular shape however I did mine in a line.)It was easy to peel however I was anxious with what was left behind! Beautiful colour! Very vibrant and glowy, however my application did require a serious amount of blending and I didn’t have a beauty blender to hand, which I would highly recommend as the tool to use with these stains!I was very impressed with the overall effect. The stains add a smooth hue and cute matte finish. I will be adding a layer of gloss to my lip going forward but that is a personal preference.I am writing this review the following day and the tints to my lips and cheeks are still visible.PROS: Long lasting. Cruelty free formula. Fun experience. Great range that will suit any mood. Lovely ingredients that are nourishing and should be kind to the skin (obviously I do not make any medical claims and can only speak from my experience but I have super sensitive skin and there has been no irritation.) Instructions easy to follow.CONS: A little bit messy potentially and it is a bit of guesswork in terms of finding the best coverage. You may need more specialist beauty items to assist (lip brush/beauty blender.) Different drying time even on lips not just between different features.All in all it does exactly what it says it is going to! I like that there is a fifteen minute developing time; it personally suits my lifestyle as I could complete a task in between application and peel. Both colours I have used so far are very attractive and think many people will love at least one in the set.

These work exactly as described. Very heavy colour goes on, it dries, you peel it off to reveal… not a lot of colour change. It DOES colour your lips but only a tint, and not for long. I had hoped to stain my lips then go swimming but the colour didn’t last sufficiently.Very fun gimmick but for practical purposes it’s doesn’t work. If you layer up the product it just congeals on the lip and can be wiped off.Tip: exfoliate lips before use.

All of the colours look great however it's lasts for about 6hrs whether you eat or not and slowly loses its pigment.

This is an awful product - has a very strong chemical smell and taste. Colour doesn’t stay on and very messy - they burst in my makeup bag and made such a mess. I would not recommend this product

Exactly what I needed! I was really surprised how long it lasts and how true the colour is, it went on nicely first time. Definitely recommend this and buying this product again from Kukubird. Thank you!

Sticky and messy and doesn't last five minutes. The colours look intense when first put it on but when you peel it off there's barley anything there.

a little messy and personally don’t look great on me. can be mixed which is sort of cute :) do NOT recommend putting lip balm on shortly before application as it makes it really hard to dry and peel off. however please don’t put this on dry lips because it hurtsss😭

Die Lippen sollten am besten vorher gut behandelt sein und nicht spröde, da man sonst die Unterschiede sieht. Aber mit dem Ergebnis bin ich voll zufrieden. Funktioniert auf den Lippen und Wangen
