Nice tool for my Garage, worth the price!
I’ve been working on my own cars for years, and this is by far the best tool I’ve added to my garage. The LAUNCH X431 PRO Elite (2025 model) does it all—full system scans, bidirectional control, ECU coding, and it even supports CAN FD and DOIP for newer vehicles.I’ve used it on my RAM 1500, BMW 3 Series, and my wife’s Toyota Sienna. It found hidden codes, let me run active tests (like fuel pump and fan controls), and helped me program a new battery without going to the dealership.Setup was quick, the interface is easy to use, and the 2 years of free updates is a nice bonus. It’s not the cheapest scanner, but it’s absolutely worth the price if you do your own repairs. It’s already saved me a few hundred bucks.Highly recommend for DIYers or even small shop owners.

For the $500 price mark this thing is bad to the bone!
I've used several different diagnostic tools (other launch), Matco scan tools, Autel and Snap on scan tools professionally before this one, and I can honestly say this device is the BEST I've used so far.First, it's considerably faster at auto detecting VINs if it's available for that vehicle and it has a simple to use interface with a lot of features. Our shop purchased an Autel scanner recently that is roughly $1200 ( not sure the model but it’s a pro scanner) I prefer this android OS interface any day of the week. Much easier to navigate and find what module you need. The live data can be graphed and overlapped for a plethora of things, and recorded while doing so, the full fault scan allows you to go straight into the module you want to access with one button, regardless of whether it has faults or not and the TPMS failure to my surprise is quick and easy to use. One noteworthy thing is that every time I've used TPMS so far, it's required internet access even though I've downloaded all of the manufacturers programs for it already, but it's not a hassle generally. Bi directional controls work quickly and easily, and even the oil life reset is almost always useful as it will tell you how to do it if you can't do it via scan tool, which is awesome. The screen is very sharp and clear perhaps 1080p or a little over, I guess), and since it's running Android, you can access the internet like a normal tablet if you need to Google something. It will offer an internet search of the code fault too after scanning to help you get some information of what you’re dealing with. The fact that the scan tool I used to use from Snap-on was almost 5 grand and was slower and didn't have all the features this one has says a lot, and I like Snap on , Autel for a lot of things, but I'm impressed by the simplicity , the features , the speed and intuitiveness of this scanner. I’d choose this one if you’re a Tech or serious Enthusiast looking to save a dollar , scan like a badass, and use all the automotive pro features they don’t want you to have to be able to diagnose on your own! Oscilloscope, Key Programming, Coding, ADAS calibration, Oil Reset, Steering Angle Sensor and Battery reset to name just a FEW!My only complaint is I wish it was blue tooth but this is minor and I believe you can buy it. I may do that!

Amazing tool , Must have for any technician and shop.
The media could not be loaded. I have been a full time automotive technician for 18+ years and now current diagnostic tech/shop foreman. I needed a tool that would be reliable and also have coverage for all the various vehicles that come into the shop. Nothing is worse than picking up a scan tool booting up and connecting to a car and then finding out it does not have the feature you need or that it is not compatible. This is where the x431 pro3 ace excels. Note this does have Auto auth capability for FCA vehicles you will need to register. After unboxing I was presented with 2 solid cases - one for the scan tool , DBSCar VII interface, charger and other cables. In the second box is all the pre obd2 adapters and some more cables. Booting up for the first time the scan tool came with almost 100% charge, I registered it with Launch and used the serial number and code within the plastic envelope on the square white sheet of perforated paper. Note do not lose this number or code. The whole set up process took less than 3 minutes and then I was ready for updates. After performing 98 updates the tool was up and ready to go and put this tool through the paces on every vehicle that I encountered. Now I have been using the x431 pro3 ace exclusively for the past 2.5 weeks on every vehicle that comes in , pre and post scan , full diagnostics - From American , Asian , European vehicles I have not found any issues at all with compatibility. I like it so much my other scan tools sit and collect dust. After clicking intelligent diagnose the vehicle will begin the scan. The topology map is awesome and helps a lot with seeing what module is on what network as well. The overall scan is very quick and the longest scan I experienced was less than 1 minute and that was because the vehicle had a lot of modules. In the topology scan it will turn red if there are faults , green if no faults detected. On top of the scan screen for most vehicles there is a button for commonly used functions. After the scan is complete you can view a report and either print or email with the fault codes , vin and even attach a photo.Things I found very helpful with this tool, the graphing function when viewing live data is very quick with no delay and accurate to help you come to a diagnosis. The tab on the main screen that says Service Function, as shown in my attached photos this will list all of the most common functions without you having to scan the vehicle and select the module individually to find where the function is. The camera is very sharp if you are in need of taking pictures of a concern or just want to attach a photo of the vehicle to the report, It also can do video recording. Coding for certain vehicles has functioned perfectly as well. You can also email reports and photos from the device with various different methods. The device stores the scan results if you need to go back and recover previous faults. And lastly I am quite forgetful and have lost several small scan tool adapters due to being left in a customer vehicle - The screen will notify you and beep at you to not forget the vci in the vehicle after you finish a session.Overall I am extremely satisfied with the Launch x431 Pro3 Ace. For the money it does more than most tool truck scan tools that cost way more in tool price and update cost. After testing over 75 vehicles I have found this device to be very capable and can function as the main tool in a shop. I also like the fact that you can add hd truck or motorcycle to it later if needed along with battery tester and tpms tools from Launch which will all work with this device so no need to buy another scan tool. For anyone looking and trying to choose what to buy in this price range I definitely recommend this one!

No support for product
I have used this tool maybe 5-6 times over the last 6 months and it had great features and capabilities. The tool stopped working altogether after a software update. Zero customer support. Launch corporate will not help at all without the seller handling the return. The seller will not respond to emails. Zero stars. Atrocious customer service. Amazon should not allow sellers like this to scam customers with no support.
