Quite helpful for wire tracking
Actually it may deserve 5 stars. But since I had tested only for electric wire tracing I gave 4 stars. I used for wire tracing/tracking in my house as for few points I couldn't locate corresponding switches. So I used this and it had beautifully worked. Infact I was hesitant in buying this as I was not sure whether it will work for my application. I switched off mains and used this device and it was ziffy. In fact I need not traverse all through walls. I went to expecting switch boards (opened)and I will hover the probe and it will big beep at correct wire. So good.

This review is only for electrical wiring.
Working properly for LAN. But during electrical wiring, it gives mixed signal. When you connect a test wire, it gives signal for every wire that is close to test wire or tangled with test wire, in electrical wiring.
