oh how i love these needles, The set comes with a 30" cable but as i was knitting a shawl a longer cable was a must so a 50" was duly ordered, came swiftly and was soon on my needle tips, smooth kink free and a dream to knit with, my shawl is now finished but i'll soon be onto the next project with many more years of happy knitting with my chiaoGoos

Excellent item. These cables have no ‘memory’ so there is no problem with them curling or tangling. Very good quality and the seamless join between cable and interchangeable needle means the stitches slip along nicely as you work. Highly recommended!

Holds long projects very well
This is a very sturdy cable; it doesn’t kink; it hold heavy projects. I bought it to finish a poncho I’m knitting. The cable is very long (50”) and it holds the weight of all stitches (336) I have on the border of the poncho. I’m using needle US8/5mm. I can tell it’s going to be perfect for knitting one piece sweaters or blankets. It fits well my metal lace chiaogoo needles.
