Dolly Parton's Sweet Cornbread & Muffin Mix, 16 oz.

Ben says: “Even Dolly can’t fix my family’s cornbread debates.” We picked up the Dolly Parton cornbread mix for Thanksgiving because our usual go-to has lard in it and we had a couple vegetarians joining us this year. I wasn’t sure how it would stack up, but honestly? It turned out great. The texture was fluffy, the sweetness was right in the middle—not dessert but not bland—and everyone at the table enjoyed it, vegetarians and carnivores alike. It was easy to make, came out consistent, and didn’t require any wild substitutions. If you’re trying to keep things inclusive without sacrificing flavor, this is a solid pick. Dolly delivered.

It taste really, very good. It was so easy to make our definitely buy it again thank you very much for the sweet cornbread mix Dolly you’ve done it again.

This box mix came out incredibly delicious. It doesn’t call for a lot of extra ingredients, and whips up quickly. 27 minutes later (8x8 glass pan), it came out smelling great! It could be cut with a butter knife and needed no time to cool before eating. The cornbread was light in weight but satisfying, substantial. Not particularly gritty or crumbly. The edges were the best!

This cornbread was good. It is sweet but not cake sweet. It is definitely sweeter than Jiffy mix. in a 12x8 pan the bread baked to about halfway up the pan. The consistency was good, not crumbly, and moist.

If you love sweet cornbread you are going to love Dolly's-fluffy and delicious. I cooked mine in a cast iron skittle and it did not stick at all.

Best cornbread ever!!

We served cornbread muffins for a birthday party (crowd of 50+) and the muffins were the first item to disappear. Folks were asking if there was more! Personally, the muffins were the best right from oven and with real sweet cream salted butter. Will buy again!
