مشترك مع USB وPD… هل يغنيك عن الشواحن فعلاً؟ أنا اشتريت هذا المشترك لأن عندي مشكلة دائمة في المكتب: كثرة الشواحن والأسلاك. بين الجوال، التابلت، السماعات، واللابتوب، الموضوع صار فوضى. اللي جذبني هنا وجود منافذ USB مدمجة، خصوصًا USB-C بقدرة 20W، فقلت يمكن أختصر عدد الشواحن وأرتب المكان. أول تجربة كانت إيجابية بشكل عام. فكرة إنك تشحن الجوال مباشرة من المشترك بدون رأس شاحن فعلاً مريحة. جربت منفذ USB-C مع الجوال، وكان الشحن سريع نوعًا ما (مو أسرع شيء في السوق، لكنه قريب من أداء الشواحن الأصلية 20W). منافذ USB-A الثلاثة مفيدة للأجهزة الثانوية مثل السماعات أو ساعة ذكية. المخارج الكهربائية الخمسة أدت الغرض، وشبكت عليها اللابتوب والشاشة وبعض الأجهزة الخفيفة بدون مشاكل. طول السلك (3 متر) مناسب للمكتب أو غرفة النوم، ويعطيك مرونة كويسة بدون ما تحتاج تمديدات إضافية. لكن في نفس الوقت، فيه ملاحظات لازم تنقال. بعض المستخدمين يذكرون أن سرعة الشحن تقل إذا استخدمت أكثر من منفذ USB في نفس الوقت، وهذا لاحظته بشكل بسيط. أيضًا، توزيع المخارج قريب من بعض، فلو عندك رؤوس شواحن كبيرة ممكن تتضايق المساحة. من ناحية الأمان، وجود حماية من زيادة التيار شيء مطمئن نظريًا، لكن واضح إنها من الفئة الأساسية، يعني مناسبة للاستخدام العادي، مو للأجهزة الحساسة جدًا أو الأحمال العالية. هل لبّى توقعاتي؟ إلى حد كبير نعم. كنت أبغى تقليل الفوضى وتعدد الشواحن، وهذا تحقق. لكن ما استغنيت بالكامل عن الشواحن الأصلية، خصوصًا للأجهزة اللي تحتاج شحن أسرع. الإيجابيات: وجود USB-C وUSB-A مدمجة يوفر عليك شواحن تصميم عملي للمكتب أو الطاولة عدد مخارج كافي للاستخدام اليومي طول السلك مناسب السلبيات: سرعة الشحن تقل مع تعدد الأجهزة المخارج قريبة من بعض جودة التصنيع متوسطة الحماية الكهربائية أساسية من ناحية القيمة مقابل المال، أشوفه خيار جيد إذا هدفك تنظيم الشحن وتقليل الأسلاك. لكن لو تهمك السرعة العالية أو تشغيل أجهزة كثيرة وقوية، يمكن تحتاج حل أقوى. في النهاية، المنتج عملي ومريح، لكنه مصمم للاستخدام اليومي العادي، وليس للاستخدام الثقيل.

A nicely built and modern 5 way extension power strip which is made even more versatile by the use of universal sockets to allow the use of some International electrical plugs as well as the standard 13 amp UK 3 pin plugs. As well as the 5 electrical output sockets the unit comes with 4 additional USB charging ports, 2x 12W USB A, 1x 18W USB A QC3.0 and also 1x 20W USB C PD3.0, which should accommodate most peoples current charging needs. The device has a separate on/off power switch built in as well as a very useful 3 meter long cable with a moulded UK 13 amp 3 pin plug. My only small reservation is with the wall mounting options - bizarrely there is no provision to mount the unit horizontally as there are only two indented mounting slots, one at each end designed to be used to hang the unit vertically from either end. However, this is a very well made and modern power strip solution and is good value at this price!

What can I say about an extension lead. Well this one has a few features to make it easier. To start with it seems to be made to a good standard. It looks and feels substantial and although I have no way of testing its electrical safety I have no concerns. It comes with a good lead length so does not need to be near a power point and the inclusion of one USB - C PD socket and three USB power sockets means I do not tie up mains sockets with adapters. Finally to the mains sockets which are very unusual. They are designed to take normal UK plugs but will also take foreign plugs such as the two round pin European standard and two parallel flat pin plugs. although I cannot test all the options. It also looks to take old UK three round pin but I have no way to check that one. Finally there is a push on/off switch in one corner. Overall this looks to be a decent product.
