I weirdly ordered a whole bunch of wool banya hats off of Amazon to do a comparison, both between each other and against one I already have, which was purchased at a real banya; this is one of those.First off, and most importantly, this DOES appear to be real wool. At the current price, that's probably enough of an endorsement without any other comment, but I'll add some other notes as well:-It does run large but will still fit most adult heads, and can always be angled back if it's loose.-It is square-ish, with corners, instead of the common rounded acorn shape.-The seams are a bit loose. This allows it to fold nicely but I'm not sure how it will impact the hat's longevity.-The applique design is a bit goofy, but it true to the product image.

This is perfect for my gym bag! I like to use the sauna after a workout if I have the time, but I'm always worried about protecting my hair. This makes me feel much better about going in the sauna!The quality of the hat seems like real wool and good stitching! I love that I'm supporting a product made in Ukraine too. Definitely recommend for any sauna users!

I have long hair and this soft wool hat was roomy enough for me to pile my hair up under it. It’s comfy and will protect ny hair in the sauna. It gets 4 stars because the hook is not sewn well which makes me wonder about durability.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this. When it arrived, I felt a little foolish looking at how it sat on my head in the mirror - like a big bell. However, when I got into my sauna, I couldn't believe how much having this on helped make the entire experience more comfortable.This seems like the real deal to me, and although the price ($18.45 at the time of this review) made me a little leery about ordering it, now that it's here I think it's worth every penny. Highly recommended if you are a frequent sauna user.

This is a sauna hat made of SUPER thick, wooly/felty fabric. It has a loop at the top for hanging. It is large enough for a man to use.It has an international flare due to the design on the front. (I hope it says something nice!)No complaints. Very nice for the sauna. I'll use it happily.
