Yamaha YRS 32B Soprano Recorder - Baroque Fingering System - Brown

This is an excellent high quality resin recorder with accurate tuning and a pleasant tone right through the range. There's non of that high pitched squeal from notes at the high end like many recorders have, and all notes are clear and sweet. This is better than many wooden recorders I have played which cost many times the price, without the high maintenance of oiling the wood.I have several Yamaha soprano resin recorders in the '30s' range and this is as good as any. In fact, I'm preferring it to the YRS 304B that I've had for ages, as I think the response in high range sounds ever so slightly better, but there's not much in it. I also have some recorders from the '20s' range, and the superb YRS402B; which is better but not as easy to play. For a beginner, I would recommend a Recorder from the '20s' range, as the straight windway is much more forgiving of presice rear thumb hole half covering mistakes. The '30s' range and 402 are not so. I would say that you can begin learning with these recorders if you are an ambitious person, it will just take a bit more practice, and they do sound better than the '20s' range recorders. I would say that this YRS-32B is aimed at the ambitious beginner to intermediate player.As with all recorders, they must be warned up before playing by keeping it under your top or close to your body for a few minutes, or it will quickly get blocked up with condensation. This will have to be blown or suckled out to clear it, which you don't want to do in the middle of playing. It will happen eventually, but not as quick as a cold recorder in a cold room.I'm not sure what the RRP is for this recorder, but I bought it at a bargain sale price of £12.20, which I'm sure is less than half the RRP!It's a fine instrument at at least twice that price. Highly recommended. 5*****!

It's many years since I attempted to play the recorder at school and having recently joined a music club decided it was time to buy my own instrument! This had good reviews and was a good price. It is early days but I am enjoying learning a new skill. Good for breathing control too. Recommended.

comprei duas, uma rosa de um material um pouquinho inferior, da mesma marca, mas minha sobrinha tem 8 anos e queria ter uma flauta rosa e essa de uma material melhor para que não ficasse com uma flauta inferior aos colegas da escola, como imaginei que aconteceria, aconteceu, adorei ter comprado essa prevendo que a ideia da cor rosa não seria uma ideia tao legal assim kkk, mas nao ia simplesmente contrariar ela, mas deixar que ela entedesse depois que estava errada quanto a escolher algo somente pela cor (seria bom que existisse uma rosa de qualidade melhor )

Ich war überrascht wie leicht sich die Flöte spielen läßt. Sehr schöner Klang.Da macht es Spass Blockflöte spielen zu lernen.Außerdem sieht sie auch noch gut aus...Ich bin übrigens Anfänger...

Qualité au rendez-vous pour cet instrument de musique pour le collège.

La flauta esta muy bien, es muy bonita y suena muy bien. Hay que tener en cuenta que la digitacion es barroca y por tanto la nota Fa es distinta a la flauta de digitacion alemana, que es la que se utiliza en las escuelas. Es un poco más complicado pero con práctica te acostumbras. A mi hijo cada vez le sale mejor!
