Very happy Eagle Creek customer, great piece of luggage
This is out fourth purchase of an Eagle Creek piece of luggage and we are very pleased. We have the larger 120L Cargo Hauler wheeled backpack, two 25 year old larger backpacks, and now we bought this for our son who is going off to college. It allows him to travel both domestically and abroad if/when he wants as it meets both size standards for carry on or checked, it is durable and we are pretty sure its going to see its share of use and abuse. Happy customer and will be buying another one of these for our daughter probably.

FLIMSY frame breaks after several trips...
Have LOVEd and used Eagle creek rolling duffle bags for many years. OUr previous bags traveled back and forth to Asia 6-8 times a year... I think they are in the millin mile club. They served us very well but needed replacing.. We cought two Eagle Creek cargo Hauler XT. Wheeled Duffle.... With in one year. both had broken frames... We ALwasy travel under the airline luggage weight limits...It was a great disappointment that the bags were maybe used 4-5 times each... I opended the zipped up liner and could see the snapped aluminum frames.. Yes the frames are light.. but the are also flimsy... This bag has not longitivity at all. We need two new bags... These bags were a huge waster of money.

Spateous, practical, and durable
This is my first experience with Eagle Creek. I have a Briggs and Riley carry-on and backpack that use for 2-3 trips a month, each that I've used for 7-10 years. I was looking for a duffel checked bag, but the price point for B&R was just one I couldn't justify for a bag that I'd use 2-3 times a year. I can wholeheartedly say that I am a big fan of this brand! I used this bag for a month of travel across Europe and then in the US. Through 10 flights, this bag held up exceptionally well. I had no issues checking it for international travel. I used packing cubes to help organize given the fairly cavernous center pouch space. The side pouch was excellent for storing shoes and dirty laundry. I also used the backpack straps to help cinch down and attach a second duffel bag, which made traveling with nearly 100 lbs fairly easy. Highly recommend!

Good duffel, but get a dark color
excellent duffel, but the gray color was a mistake, it always looks dirty from the baggage handling process.

Very durable
Exactly as described. The bag is heavy duty, robust, and of good quality.

Great Addition to Your Luggage Collection
Perfect for Long Overseas Trips … It packs a lot and you can roll it or wears as a backpack.. It was perfect for our South African Safari Trip

OK but I'd look at others first
I just got the luggage so this is a preliminary review. Nice, light luggage. It fits size limit of most overseas airlines. Wide open top for easy packing. One major weakness: the pull handle frame is made of aluminum. Thus it is light but feel flimsy. As the pulled handle is tugged inside the luggage (most luggages I have placed the pulled bar outside of the compartment), the internal compartment is split into 3 sections. If your packing cubes don't fit within a section, they will lay over the bars, leave a small gap underneath. Two, the pulled bar is slightly rise above the base. Because the aluminum bar is light, heavy packing on top of the framed bar could pressured them down, risk snapping it. This is likely the reason one reviewer complaint of the broken frame. It's a decent 2 wheels luggage, but seems overpriced when compared to the quality of a Patagonia bag.
