## Description

The NA-TPG1 is a simple yet highly effective means to preclude thermal paste build-up in the cut-outs of the heatspreader of AMD AM5 CPUs. When the mounting pressure of the cooling solution is applied, excess thermal paste will be squeezed outwards. With AM5 CPUs, this excess paste tends to accumulate in the cut-outs at the sides of the heatspreader and may become difficult to remove. Simple and risk-free to apply, the NA-TPG1 prevents this undesired phenomenon. Combined with the ten included NA-CW1 cleaning wipes, the NA-STPG1 set gives you everything you need to keep your AM5 processor clean.

When it came to it I was quite relieved that I'd bought it (it did make me think that the shape of the new AMD chip was a pretty silly design choice). I think they should come as standard, and not as an afterthought. Reportedly adequately heat resistant.

Just pop it over the CPU and it stops the thermal paste getting down into the crevices. When it came to it I was quite relieved that I'd bought it (it did make me think that the shape of the new AMD chip was a pretty silly design choice). I wish I had known about the Noctua NA-STPG1 Thermal Paste Guard sooner—it’s an absolute lifesaver! Applying thermal paste can sometimes get messy, but this guard makes the process so much easier and cleaner. It’s incredibly simple to use; just place it on the CPU, and it prevents excess paste from spreading to places you don’t want it to go. Another huge plus is that it’s reusable, so you can keep it handy for future builds or upgrades. And at this price, it’s a fantastic deal for the time and frustration it saves. If you’ve ever struggled with applying thermal paste perfectly, this tool is a must-have. I’ll never go back to applying paste without it! Highly recommended for PC builders of all skill levels.
