Peel - Whole Orange 250g (Buy Whole Foods Online Ltd.)

I bought this peel so I could cut shapes out of it to decorate the top of my Christmas Cake (I decorate with fruit and nuts rather than marzipan and icing). It is lovely and thick, tastes delicious and as it is natural as well it ticked all the boxes. The colour was also good which made the cake look lovely.

The quality of the peel is very good indeed. I cut it into small pieces & coat with melted dark chocolate for a sweet treat. As the recipe doesn't require cooking the quality of the peel cannot be disguised by anything else so needs to be good.

Delicious flavour and texture. It actually tastes of orange and is soft and chewy unlike the hard tasteless pieces of candied peel you buy in tubs in supermarkets. The pieces are large so you can cut them into whatever size you need. Diamond shapes or thin straps to decorate cakes or chopped into small pieces to incorporate into cakes and buns. Have ordered more its so good.

These are heavenly. I cut them into strips and enrobed them in Green and Black’s dark chocolate. Turned out better tasting than the expensive ones we bought in Lille!

These were delicious, worth spending a little bit extra for the flavour alone. I use these in a dessert I make for special occasions, I had previously used other supermarket peel, but that was too hard and bitter. This peel was perfect both in flavour and texture.

Marvellous for Roscon de Reyes and other kind of cakes, breads and panettone.

Bought this to go in a chocolate fruit cake in place of a traditional Christmas place, and have not made it yet, but delivery was quick and it looks and smells delicious, so thumbs up.
