I have tried Cell Solar Cameras of sevral Brands and kinds... This is the only one that works with a low signal and takes almost no time to set up.. I live in the woods and get maybe 1 bar of cell reception and contrary to what I thought the cheaper and less complicated camera works better in my environment.. I have wasted more then I care to admit trying to secure my road (2.3 Miles) for just advance notice and also for a Game camera.... The Go PT has made it happen.. I have 4 cameras set up at key entrance and animal traffic points and they work wonderfully.. You need to get familiar with the concept of a motion controllable camera and then have fun..

I didn’t have any trepidation about ordering a renewed piece of merchandise as long as it was backed by Amazon. I’ve waited much longer than usual to review this camera to make sure everything was fine. And mostly, it has been.I have to say up front that I was a bit annoyed when I first realized that the camera needed a SIM card to operate and one was not included. Going back to the product page I found that that information was way down farther in the page. It was never mentioned in the “About this item” section.So I ordered a SIM card and got the installation going after it arrived. We have our cellular plan under T-Mobile so connectivity wasn’t a big problem.The next issue was choosing the right location for the camera since it only has an IP64 rating. IP64 means it’s protected from dust and from water spray, not weatherproof as the product info claims. I mounted the camera under the roof overhang where it’s out of the way of the worst weather and installed the solar panel up top.So far, so good. I’ll come back and re-visit this review if anything changes.
