Great fit but no plumtub
Initially I thought i would be getting the bung kit and a plumtub like the picture shows however when I received the bungs with no plumtub I realised it says it goes well with their green plumtub. Doesn’t say it comes with it.

Useful gadget to avoid draining down the system
There's not a lot to say, but this is a very handy gadget to temporarily seal pipes whilst doing repairs or replacing a radiator. Note you only get the two bungs but not he drain tray which you buy separately. The conical design means they fit a range of pipe sizes. The bright green stands out in the tool box. making them easy to find.

Essential to prevent water leaking from the radiator...
Initially I tried to get the bung/draining tub combination but I couldn't, so I settled for just getting the bungs, and I purchased the tub the next day (and I will review that too later) but my advice is get the bung/draining tub combination if you are actually purchasing them - you will save about £4 that way !I had the misfortune when changing a very old thermostatic radiator valve to a much more modern one of flooding the hallway, not to mention both myself and the carpet were dripping wet too - I was not popular with the wife !I have researched a lot more now into where I went wrong and I am MUCH wiser now, as one if the items that would have saved the day would have been these bungs, as I could have out a bun in the radiator outlet and the other bung into the feed pipe, which would have given me time to have isolated the water supply to the system - yes I did have bungs but we have a micro bore system and the bungs I had were way too big, I literally had nothing to be able to stop the water... oops !Now, these bungs would have definitely saved the day as they can be used on ANY pipe with a diameter between 5mm and 22mm (microbore is 10mm OD) and they would have saved the day, not to mention lots of towels and 5 kitchen rolls.I have tried the bungs in microbore and they fit great, but I also wanted the protection of the 'Draining Tub' so of course I bought that as well.I still have to replace another 3 valves, er, eventually, but I now have all the equipment I need, and would approach the whole thing a different way too, so be warned, do ALL your research and make sure you also have ALL the equipment as well.In my defence I had done 3 valves with no problems, but had not foreseen a problem with the 4th valve. Conclusion :These are good quality bungs and I would say, along with the draining tub are absolutely essential if you are doing any work on radiators. In all fairness the web page does say "Best Used in Conjunction with The SPI Plumbtub", so they even warn you to get the draining tub as well !I have no hesitation in giving these bungs 5 stars - all day long.
