You will find it an emotional rollercoaster with many ups and downs. A must have for your movie collection. I guarantee this film will make you see Tyson in a different light.SPECIAL FEATURES REVIEWAround 4 hours of footage from every fight of Tysons career... what more can I say BRILLIANT!!!GENERAL RUN THROUGH OF THE FILMThe film is not a conventional movie it is a documentry showing the rise and fall of former heavy weight Mike Tyson. It starts of by telling you about his childhood and how he use to get bullied and picked on, then one day he fought back and realised he could stand up for himself. It then turns on to how he got into crime as a child and went in and out of borstals and it was there where he began to box. Later on he is introduced to boxing trainer Cus D'Amato by Irish boxer Bobby Stewart, who takes him under his wing and plays the father figure which he so desperately needed. Cus D'Amato taught him discipline and self control which led him to win every amateur title. It then goes on to show how early into Tysons professional career he sadly lost his trainer/manager Cus D'Amato and how it affected Tyson in a very bad way. He then talks about his feelings towards women and his sexual encounters. It then goes on to him winning the World Heavy Weight championship of the world. In time things start to get bad around him, he gets married then shortly divorced to Robin Givens, he became involved with Don King, then he starts getting lazy and stops training as hard (or not at all at times) and partying alot. Things then go from bad to worse when he gets accused of rape (he talks about this in great detail) and found guilty (I don't believe he did it personally). The movie then goes onto his return to boxing after his time inside which some fights included Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno and the legendary two fights against Evander Holyfield which ended with Tyson biting Holyfields ear (for good reasons as you will see watching the movie) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Fallen star *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 April 2009* This is a remarkable docu-film about mike tyson.I watched tyson from the start of his career and it was clear then that he was going to be something special.The film itself goes from when tyson was a boy involved in crime to when he was plucked from the streets by cus d'mato and put on the road to stardom.When he becomes the youngest ever heavyweight champion of the world it seems that nothing can stop him from being at the top of his game for a long time.But tyson was at the centre of his own downfall.In the film he admits to this.He admits that he screwed his life up with drink,drugs and women.Hangers on blew his fortune for him rumoured to be $400m.At this point he lost it in the ring as well, losing to no hoper buster douglas.And that was the begining of the end for tyson.Although he regained his world titles,his career and life were on an unstoppable downward spiral.From rape convictions to other run in's with the law to failed marriages to antics in the ring like biting off evander holyfield's ear.The film covers all of this and in some cases skates over one or two of these subjects (rape conviction springs to mind) Which tyson continues to deny.In the film tyson is interviewed as he is now.He comes accross as quite humble and remorsfull for his errors.The film made me uncomfortable at times especially the way tyson talks about women.While he continues to deny his conviction it is obvious that tyson sees females as objects provided for his pleasure.Do i feel sorry for this beat up ex champion? No, he probably still has a few quid stashed away somewhere.Do i believe tysons versions of contraversial events? Well some not others.Was tyson the greatest boxer in history?
