Great
This is luck based game and definitely fun for smaller kids as no strategy or over thinking is needed. Great fun and easy to set up and clean. Not too delicate.

Sharp spike
Used for 30 minutes, a sharp piece of wire came loose from the mouth.

Fun for young shark fans.
The game is easy to set up and clear away (it fits easily back into the original box). A few fishes need to be popped out of a foam sheet, and a couple of bits of plastic need to be clipped together, but that’s basically it. To play the game you’ll first need to push the shark down and secure it behind two little plastic clamps. Make sure you do this at the widest part of the hark’s mouth (the top and bottom) otherwise it tends to pop up when it’s not supposed to. Next fill the shark’s mouth with the little foam fish. Each fish has a number on it. Players close their eyes and take a fish at random. They then use the rod to hook the large plastic fish in the middle of the shark’s mouth and give it a pull (the number of times written on their foam fish). It’s that simple. During someone’s turn, pulling on the large plastic fish with the rod is going to release one of the clamps and the shark will jump up in the air. That player then loses all their fish. It’s a very similar principle to games like Pop-up-Pirates, Don’t Wake Dad or Greedy Granny. It’s fun for the right age group (mainly pre-schoolers) but at a current price of thirty pounds, it seems quite expensive for what it is.

Not as good as original smaller version
Pretty rubbish really.Handful of foam fish that you have to pick out rather than fishYou have to hook a specific thing to make it work so no element of surpriseSave your money and buy the bnm cheap version, way more fun

Entertaining for kids
My six-year-old son really loves playing this game. I would call it action and surprise. When his friends come and play it with him they are on their toes and playing to win. I like that it entertains them and it's something he can do by himself.

Engineering could use some work
We had the smaller version and loved it so we thought this would be fun too but the mechanics on the big one aren’t great. Very touchy or it won’t jump at all. Had to return it.
