I love this suit. It give me piece of my with my son near water. He's head will not go under water no matter how much he rough house in the pool or lake.

This suit is so great for my daughter with special needs! It gives her more support in the water so she can stand and walk around in the right depth, but of course I still stay nearby to supervise. The largest size fit my daughter at age 9 but she will probably outgrow it soon. Wish I'd discovered these years ago!

I was looking for something to replace a swimsuit/lifevest that my 4 year old had grown out of and found this. This works even better - it keeps her just above water and lets her practice her swimming moves. It has enough flotation that I feel safe letting her roam in the shallows where she can stand by herself but not so much that she can't practice swimming. I love that I can remove some of the flotation without removing all of it. My daughter didn't like the neck ring so I took that out. It looks a little bulky on her but one family member remarked that it just looked like she was really buff. Fairly thick material, well put together. Easy to get on and off.

Son loves this! Got it to replace an old old old body glove suit with similar float assist, it’s exactly the same but has a long thing on the zipper so he can get it off himself! Neck part is removeable!! I was worried about that he doesn’t need that anymore but his brother does. Great way to teach a young kid how to swim. Without the neck piece it floats just enough that he has to work to stay up and it like the oldBody glove one is our key to him learning to swim. With the neck piece in it keeps his heat juuussstt above water if he doesn’t move. Totally reccomend.

Awesome product! My son is a size 6/7 roughly 53lbs. He didn’t sink it holds his weight in the water and it allowed his to move freely all over the 6 feet pool! I gave it 4 stars because the material did start getting a little fuzzy on the butt area I guess from sitting on the edge of the pool.

My daughter got annoyed by her puddle jumper life jacket once she learned she could dive to the bottom without it on. She's still too young to tread water, and needs a parent in the pool with her, which we're not always keen to jump into 5x a day. With this float suit, it gives her just enough buoyancy to grab a breath before swimming again. It's definitely not for a timid kid or poor swimmer, but for those who have no fear of going underwater from one end of the pool to the other - this swimsuit works amazingly well.

This is a good suit. My only negative comment is that my son constantly gets a wedgie while wearing it in the pool. Every time he comes out the water hes pummi g it out his bottom. Other than that it works great. Keeps him afloat and safe in the water. He calls it his TOTS whale suit. You know from the cartoon TOTS. He loves it.

Thankfully I ordered a size 4 for a 2 year old in the 75-90 percentile in weight and height. As the size 4 just fit this newly turned 2yo. The suit itself is great as you can remove all the internal float guts to wash the swim wear. Would recommend but definitely size up!!

I was uncertain how it would hold up in the water but the neck piece doesn't seem to ride up too much and it holds my not-quite-four-year-old's head above water with some effort on his part. The chest floats don't interfere with --- even encourage --- arm movements. I wouldn't rely on it for safety in any circumstance but for assisted swimming it's worked out as hoped. No idea how the construction will hold up over time but not much survives my kid's tender ministrations anyhow.

I bought this for my grandson because I liked the fact that the extra swimming protection was built into the swim suit. He is a toddler so he should never swim alone to begin with, but just in case he jumps in the pool I feel more secure that he will come up before we reach him.
