I bought this wind gage to check air flow of my HEPA filters and different types of furnace filters, So I could tell if a filter was blocking to much air flow.The unit is well made, easy to use.Battery life is good, easy to read display. All in all, it is a great tool.

Works relatively well

Works fine. I was nearly blown off my feet while putting gas in my car the other day and wondered how fast the wind was howling through the gas pump islands. Ordered this. I keep it in the car and find that winds aren't blowing quite as fast as I had estimated. Not vital information for someone like me with only a passing interest and 6 hours of college meteorology - but interesting to have. For me, it's an adult toy that I enjoy.
