Works well and is durable. I really like the reset button when running many devices it trips and easy reset. I usually run my Ridgid vacuum and another power tool at the same time and it doesn’t trip. Although, I do use a switch that turns the tool on first for split second then the vacuum. The tools I have used @ the same time with my vacuum are different sanders, table saw, planer, band saw and Festool Domino. The cord is very durable and to wind back in works fine. Just be patient. I would definitely buy it again.

I use this for the electric lawn mower. Pull it to the edge of the yard then hook up the cable and now I don’t need a 50’ cable. Later it will go in the garage for constant use but can be moved anytime needed.I wish I could find out where to get the mounting brackets. That way I could hang the retractable cable in multiple locations without laying it flat.

I selected this cord reel because it has 12 gauge wire cord. Most advertised reels are 14 gauge.I found the construction of the housing and mounting sturdy enough for the b heavy 14ga. cord.The cord itself has a flexible rubber jacket .I found rewinding functions best by standing directly inline with reel ( mine is overhead and so standing directly beneath in my application).I am definitely pleased with this product. And plan to buy another for my workshop.

Thus was the easiest thing to install. It stretches as far as we need it to (using one on both sides of our 50x40 shop.) Looks just like the pictures and functions better than the average cord. Really heavy duty!

I'm easy to please, but considering the price ($150 USD), its design flaw cannot be overlooked. This thing is absolutely beautiful and impressively constructed. However, as other reviews have stated, it gets jammed up when you retract the cord. 60' is a lot of cord, I can go all the way to the street from my work station inside the garage. Had I never pulled all 60 feet out, I may not have ever had a problem. But, once it's out, you have to work hard to get it rolled back up neatly enough to all fit inside the housing without getting jammed up. The housing just isn't big enough for this much cord. I really want to love this cord, but haven't decided if it's worth keeping it.
