I bought these because I got into coin collecting, and was planing to use it to protect silver and rare coins ,but I couldn’t because my uncle ended up stealing them and are now considering buying another set. Great price for the quantity, I would have loved them more if they had some kind of gasket to prevent them from moving around inside the capsule.

Great way to protect coins

I would not recommend using or buying the 30mm for 50 cent pieces really tight. I would recommend using 30.6mm. The frustration of trying to close the two pieces(30mm) was a pain. I took a picture of a 30mm-pen is pointing, and a 30.6mm as you can see there is a slight difference. The 30.6 is a lot easier to close. Get 30.6mm for 50 cent pieces!!

So far the 30mm tokens in this set are the value winners with no major quality problems. The 25mm capsules are what I would call junk with most having around two quite noticeable burrs that one will want to trim up with a hobby knife to make them feel reasonable. So get these for the 30mm tokens and be prepared to waste a lot of time cleaning up the 25mm ones if you decide to use some of them. At $8 I'm keeping this set, but I'll be looking elsewhere for the rest of my 30mm capsule needs. For 25mm Amazon has 200 for $12 and that set was reasonable quality for me. ... I may end up getting more of this set since I've also been burned by other capsule sources (25mm again on AliExpress) and good 30mm at this price alone probably are worth it.
