My husband bought this for my birthday and Im so happy with it. We have it standing in a pot of sand so it’s solid. The glass is easy to read and much cleaner than a plastic one

Lasted only a month
This item was purchased as a Christmas gift. It is really pretty but today the glass rain collector just fell apart at the bottom. We are in Georgia so no extreme temperatures to weaken the glass. Now the rain gauge is useless. Of course it happens after I am unable to return it.

Great Rain Gauge, Don't bother with the thermometer
I ordered this to measure rainfall in my immediate area to help me know when I need to water my pots more frequently. The thermometer built in was, I thought, a bonus. The thermometer appears to be a spring tension thermometer, but either way it was broken when it arrived. It was reading 90°F on a day it was overcast and 54°F outside. If you need both to work, look elsewhere, but if you just want a cute rain gauge then this is nice and the large print helps to read the rainfall at a distance.
