We used this carrier on a ~750 mile road trip, almost all interstate highways. It worked well and showed no signs of wear after the trip. We didn't use the door hooks, so I can't speak to those, but it was very secure on the rack rails. Based on observing other's vehicles, I'd have to recommend filling it up as we did, or if not full, use the extra straps to cinch it down tight so it doesn't flap in the wind and become worn.As I think others have noted, be sure to orient it correctly to prevent stressing the zippers.

All of of luggage fits in it. Easy to pack away for the next trip.

I sent this roof top carrier back because I used it one time and we drove through a rain storm and our luggage got wet. We installed it according to the directions but the water went through the fabric. I do not recommend.

I was a little concerned after reading the reviews but I needed a car top carrier. This made it across country with flying colors. There weren’t even dead bugs in it! Very easy to attach to the car rails, and using the mat it came with, it never moved an inch. Zipper was a little difficult but that just meant it stayed shut. No tears, no bugs, no zipper breaks. no wind resistance, (couldn’t tell I had it on the roof and I went thru some rough winds). I will be using it again bc it’s still in perfect condition. Good quality material and zipper. I used zip ties to secure the zipper and didn’t have any issues.

PRODUCT WORKED AS STATED. PUT 2000 MILES ON CARRIER WITH NO ISSUES. IAM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT. WORTH EVERY CENT.

EDIT 8/10/23: Drove about 750 miles, no rain, roof bag functioned as expected. No surprises. I will update again after trip home. I could go to 4 star, but thatwould be max based on the really confusing descriptions, packaging, and instructions (see below)Ordered the 20 cu ft carrier, supposedly comes with 8 straps, a protective mat, 6 door hooks (which I do not need anyway) and the carrier. I got the carrier, 2 long staps, 4 door hooks, and no pretective mat. Furthermore, the instructions included do not in any way reflect installation of the item I received. Now, that said, I watched the videos, and the videos show the version I DID receive, with the 6 integrated straps and buckles. One showed the long straps, the other did not.So we leave on our trip tomorrow and I'll update how the thing actually performs, the packaging notwithstanding.

The dumb bag broke the first time we tried to use it. Of course the return window is over. The zipper broke and came apart and the bag opened while we were driving. We had to buy a tarp to tie around this piece of garbage so we could get home. I should be able to return an item this defective. This is ridiculous. What a cheap piece of junk. Didn’t even last one trip.

Packed it following instructions. Zipper is sealed correctly as is the Velcro on the outside. After driving 40 minutes to my parents house , All the contents we put in the bag are wet/damn and mildew smellingGoing to return once we arrive at our final destination

Drove over 5,000 miles with this, on my car, was amazed, packed well, did not move, hit speeds of over 80 mph and held well, recommend this product

Davvero utile e comodo ,anche il prezzo buono per chi come noi non ha le sbarre... per non spendere molto è un ottima idea. Facile da installare,e da riempire, molto capiente ,silenzioso. Ottimo acquisto.

We've used this cargo bag once. A bit tricky installation for our roof as we didn't have the appropriate roof rack bars in place (needed to utilize the hooks in the frame of the windows), but we got it done, and it held so much! Great to save the rear space of the SUV for coolers and other items that we needed to access quickly. We nearly lost the protective mat that lays between the roof and the bag, so while that was a great idea in theory, it didn't didn't stay in place during the drive. The bag didn't damage the roof in any case!Great item to have for those camping weekends, and because it's canvas, much easier to store vs the hard shelled rooftop cargo holders.

Capiente e facile da montare aderisce bene al tettuccio ma è opportuno usare un tappetino per dare maggiore grip. Le fibbie sono sufficieti per fissare la sacca in manera sicura, l'unico incoveninete che alcune bisogna farle passare all'interno dell'abitacolo. Ripiegata nella sua sacca, ha un ingombro minimo. I materiali sembrano resistenti ma l'impermeabilità non è al 100% , testata con acquazzone un po' di acqua si è infiltrata.
