This was such a great purchase. We are just days into the installation and, so far, I am well pleased. I went back and forth over whether to replace the older keyless entry lock and door knob/handle. When I finally decided to do it- I took a chance in this and I’m quite proud. You can set the unit to automatically lock after five or 10 seconds. The unit also has a voice operation that says the action taking place (“enter code”, “door locked” or “door opened”, etc). You can set multiple entry codes, including an admin user. The remaining codes include frequent users, such as family members, and even a one-time temporary code can be set (I’m guessing if someone would like for an Amazon driver to leave a package inside your house rather than on your doorstep- though not for me). It has FOUR ways to unlock- numerical code, fingerprint (option to include as you’re setting up each user), a key card (there are three and they can be activated for anyone to use after connecting through just one user), and the old fashioned metal key backup (there is a hidden keyhole). The unit requires four AA batteries. I put in lithium batteries, hoping that they last for a bit longer. I will update this review periodically. However, I am very satisfied with this purchase thus far.1/3/23- It has been a couple of months and this high tech lock is still going strong. If for any reason the lock is unable to fully securely lock, it releases a very alerting sound that helps you know to go back to check. I have the unit set to automatically lock within 10s in case someone walks off without locking/forgets to lock. This is especially important in case kids are coming in as they can sometimes disregard the need to lock the door after entering. I think this is a thoughtful security feature programmed in the unit. There are a couple of down sides that I hope the makers will change. The first is that the voice announcement only projects outside the door and not inside. So, you cannot hear the “Door locked” confirmation or the sound alert if it doesn’t lock. The second thing is that there needs to be a sensor added so the lock will begin its timer only after the door shuts. Sometimes we are closing the door at the ninth second and the deadbolt quickly extends outward before we can fully close. This is more frustrating than anything else, but it would help the product have a more real time/customizing advantage.Final note: I chose to put lithium batteries in the unit, so I would definitely recommend this option over anything else.

It's been working perfectly for a month and now it doesn't want to work anymore. (I should clarify that it is not outdoors, that is, my front door is under a small porch) The touch no longer works. I am very frustrated by this situation because the price I paid was not that cheap and I honestly bought it to make our daily routine a little easier... in addition to being frustrated I am worried because I don't have the money to buy another one. one and the return window has closed. last month. I do not know what I'm going to do... But only if you want to buy this item, keep in mind that it will only work for you for a while; and it will be wasted money

I like that you can use your finger, fob, or code to open. You can even do a temp code that is good for a 1 time use. It looks good too. After about 3 months of use it quit working. I contacted customer support and they requested a video. I sent the video and in less than 12 hours they advised they were sending a new unit and will add a 3 year warranty to it for free. It comes with a 1 year warranty.The new unit came in and it would not allow me to program it. I took a video and in less than ) hours I received instructions on how to fix it. I did not attach the wire secure enough. I unplugged and plugged back in securely this time and it works great!

Update 1: I reached out to the sellers and they quickly responded. They replied that they have shipped me a new unit replacement. You can find their email in the manual it came with.2nd Update. Received the new unit. It is working very well now.I will update again, how the product behaves after installation.*Not sure how this sucks up so much power. Battery ran out in just a couple of months. We hardly use the door but this can get expensive down the line

The media could not be loaded. Not hard to install and it's working well. Need to double check space between door and screen. Other than that it's works like a charm

We installed this deadbolt the end of December. We have liked it. About two weeks ago it started malfunctioning. The deadbolt will cycle open and closed when you open it and make it so you can't close the door. Then when you manually close adjust it so you can close the door the alarm goes off. It is really annoying.

This deadbolt worked great for the first week. I have had to change the batteries 2 times as it just quit working properly. It will not let me reset the lock, nor does it recognize any of the finger prints we programmed in it. The only way to get into it from outside is to use one of the card keys. Very disappointed as we were happy to have a key free way to get into the house.
