Dynamite Doubles: Play Winning Tennis Today!

My tennis game has noticeably improved since studying this book. For the first time in years, I feel like I know who is supposed to get which ball and where I should stand. I wanted to read about doubles strategy, not how to hit an overhead, etc. It has helped my confidence, movement on the court, and communication with our pro. One slight negative (4 stars) is that the writing is rather wordy. I've highlighted the key points for me and I'm very happy I bought the book.

Having read many tennis books, most quite complicated, this one is so straightforward and systematic. While the writing is a little long, the system is straightforward where you can read and instantly apply it to your game (diagrams are clear). Better is if you can your partners to do likewise. So many tennis players don't get how doubles is supposed to be played: where to position yourself relative to your partner & opponents, where to hit the ball; this book answers these basic concepts and more. Great gift.

Jimmy Conners(and he does a great job) does the interviewing of the twin brothers, pro tennis players who started playing at the age of 6. They are so far ahead of the weekend tennis player like me that I felt overwhelmed at times. Mr. Conners does a good job of asking the two to return to reality if you will by questioning these two great players to apply there expertise to the average weekend player. Still I did pick up some good pointers and tennis drills. Doc Rich

I like this book and have recommended it to other tennis players because it is so straight-forward about who does what and where they should be on the court. Good illustrations to back up the text.

Bought originally for my kindle. The explanations and diagrams were so good I bought a hard copy. The book actually improved my doubles game and got great incite for strategy in general.

We have shared the book with teammates to show that doubles played for moirethan recreation can be very exciting when played correctly, as in, almost professionally.Very helpful strategies presented with clarity, emphasizing the importance of the roleof each doubles player, and the significance of playing as as "team." Excellent book ifyou want to rise above "club player."

Gives you a strategy on how to play doubles. Does not focus on strokes, just strategy. I liked it - my league tennis team will be adopting this strategy.
