[ABOUT ME]I have curly hair (3a curl pattern) of medium-to-long length (e.g., when stretched out, my bangs go down to the tip of my nose). I'm always experimenting with new ways to manage and style my curls.[HOW THIS PRODUCT WORKS]As I've sought to perfect my haircare routine, I have been a user of American Crew hair products for several years now. I've tried everything from the tubed gels to the tinned creams, pastes, etc. This product hits the sweet spot for me, combining the moisture and shine of forming cream with the thickness and structure of fiber.[HOW I USE IT]After showering and patting my hair from wet to damp, I like to first apply a cream-based curl activator followed by thoroughly working this product through my hair and then blowdrying with a defuser. I find this product is exceptional in its ability to help set my curls into thickly bunched, tightly bound and polished curls while minimizing frizz.[SIZE MATTERS]My only complaint is that I end up going through ~2 bottles of this every month. That said, this may be highly specific to my use-case and hair length, as longer hair will require more product no matter what product you use. Additionally, the bottle's size (100mL) is the perfect size for packing into a carry-on.[CAN'T BEAT PRICING]I live in NYC where items like this tend to be overpriced and locked in a display case at the likes of walgreens / cvs / target / etc.Amazon almost always has this product available at a lower price, sometimes as cheap as $12, but always cheaper than my local retail options.

The media could not be loaded. I usually use the Crew firm hold gel but gave this a try to try to get rid of the crunchy greasy look I get with my short light blond hair. Product actually works. Don't use more than a large pea amount (maybe two pea's). Get it all over your hands and work it in. Works perfectly and keeps the hair adjustable all day. I do my hair like in the picture then once it dries I'll run my fingers through to break it up. looks very natural and has weight to hold it down with no gloss.

A very tiny dab of this stuff (less than the size of a dime) holds hair all day. Hair doesn't get hard/stiff. Can comb when dry to remove wet look, if desired.

I have bought other American Crew products and appreciate the effort quality. This cream is the same high quality. It goes on well, holds through the day, and does not flake. This product states medium hold but seems like high hold. I put a half a dime sized amount on my fingers and work it into my semi damp hair. The creams holds very well and styles easily. Overall a great hair cream!

Works well, hair not greasy.

I feel like I'm constantly on the hunt for a new styling cream as mine seem to get discontinued quite frequently. And this is not the cream for me.Gets props for a strong hold, but that's about it. Scent is okay, but not pleasant and on the edge of unpleasant. And the strong hold comes in the form of a very crunchy shell of hair. No matter how I try to adjust my usage it's either not enough to tame the mane or I have a sticky crust on my head at the end of the day.Ever time I try it for a couple days it goes back in the cabinet until another product runs out and I try it again. This time I'm throwing it out because it's just not for me.

After 6 months of growing my hair out I couldn't take it any more. Doing nothing looked like a puff ball mess and styling wax turned me into an anime character. The days of remote work and "camera optional" were coming to an end and I knew it was just a matter of time before I chopped the hair off when the lady who cuts my hair asked me to try this product first. It was a game changer. The fiber cream is a perfect balance between hold and body. It's not too oily, doesn't flake, and almost feels like natural hair when wet - yet stays where you put it until it dries.My favorite application is a dime-sized glob, quickly worked in, fluffed in the back, then style. After 10-15 minutes it's dry and looks great. If the hold is too much you can rewet your hair and restyle without adding any product. Sometimes the best look comes after this second styling as it breaks up some of the concentrated areas and redistributes the product.Seriously amazing and well worth the price. I used to think having long hair would be more expensive but this product is actually less than the products I used with short hair.

This is great for my son. Holds his hair in place. It’s not greasy but is very sticky on your hands. The tube does have some of the fiber cream that sticks on the outside after you use it. Seems more like it leaks just a little but not all over the place. It’s still the best we’ve used out of everything.
