Our water filter has majorly improved our water consumption. Not only are we drinking more water but we are both feeling significantly more hydrated. I used a brita for years but It is much nicer to have the larger reservoir in this filter, less refills, less frequent filter replacement and a better filtration system in general. When my wife found out that she was pregnant she insisted that we upgrade our water filtration system. We use the standard berkey filters and also the added chlorine/flouride filters that they sell which integrate straight into this system. We keep our setup right next to the sink for easy refills too. If you're considering changing water filters this should be a strong consideration

We loved our travel Berkey in our RV so much that we got a Big Berkey for our home. Beware of many imposter filter makers in this market! I highly recommend Boroux filters who previously manufactured for Berkey.

The water from the Berkey almost killed my dog.I was taking water to work every day, cooking with the water, and giving it to my dogs.After I started giving my dogs the water one of my Schnauzers started having diarrhea, which turned to full liquid, she lost so much weight that she was just bone and fur, I had to take her outside an hold her up so she could pee and the rest of the time wrap her up in a towel in case she got diarrhea on herself.Nobody could figure out what was wrong with her, she was like this for four months. I thought she was going to die.Then one day I realized my poop had been extremely soft for a while also. Then it hit me, Maybe it's the Berkey water because that's the only thing that was different/added to our routine.I stopped using the Berkey water and within a month my Schnauzer was eating again, walking around again, gaining her weight back and had turds again. As well as myself feeling better.I thought the Berkey would be a great investment, but it seriously poisoned my dog.I have not used it since.

The well water where I live is not drinkable due to the ground being solid clay. The tap water runs yellow. With the Berkey I have the best tasting, clearest water I have ever experienced. Simple to assemble, priming the filters gave me trouble at first but I got the hang of it pretty quickly and had delicious water in no time!

Seems to work but it's NOT all STAINLESS STEEL as expected, spigot is black PLASTIC and remains in contact with drinking water at all times as it sits in tank. Wondering why stainless steel spigot was not included.🙃🤔

It is amazing how different our water taste. No more water bottles and plastic. I love being to give my family clean water without having to drink out of plastic.
