Just like the OEM
It offers good filtration. Fits like the original one. The Subaru has the filter on the top. I got a 12V pump and changed the oil myself in my home garage. Very easy when you don't need to lift the car. The filter was well priced and it is made very well.

Bulldog of a filter that's better than OEM for not a ton of money
I did a bunch of research and this filter always fares well in reviews. It's not terribly expensive and seems much better made than the OEM version.

Oil Filter
Item worked perfectly for my 2022 Subaru Outback 2.5L. Would buy again and would recommend it to other Subaru owners.

This seems to be one of the best of all the current oil filters on the market today.
After doing extensive research, it appears that MANY of the best oil filters are close to the same except for this one. Seems like the construction and quality is superior by a small margin. For a few dollars more it would make sense NOT to risk my engine with anything else.

Great Filter, Shipping / Packaging Disappointing
I've used Purolator filters forever and they do the job at an affordable price. My problem is when I buy through Amazon, the filter is shipped in a flimsy bag, which always arrives dirty and destroyed- the filter's Purolator box is crushed and torn but the filter appears ok. This is probably the shipping company's fault, but I'd recommend Amazon ship it in a sturdy box rather than just a bag.

Llegó dañado, maltratado, defectuoso
The media could not be loaded. Mal forma de enviar el producto por parte de Amazon, el filtro llegó fuera de su caja de cartón, se ve maltratado, y en el interior se ve un empaque naranja q no embona bien aunque esto debido al fabricante. Pedí un KN en lugar de este, lo mismo, llegó el filtro suelto, de perdido la bolsa tenía cushion y no se dañó. La verdad, fuera de este detalle, el Boss se siente mejor q el KN, más sólido, pero el control de calidad falló. Ambos filtros Made in USA. Solia comprar FRAM Ultra, pero ya no lo venden en refaccionarias en México. Lástima q el empaquetado de Amazon y fabricantes sea tan malo.
