Wow! Love the peppery taste of this oil! We started taking shots of this oil once a day due to the phenol count. Love that this is independently tested and has the phenol count it claims. We were looking for the health benefits that come with taking EVOO shots. It’s a bit early to tell but we shall see! The oil is a beautiful, transparent golden color. Each pour has been pure with no sediment or foreign materials. The smell is pure olive and pepper, very earthy. We won’t be cooking with this one but easily could. It is a bit pricey for the quantity, however, quality over quantity. We would definitely repurchase!

Amazing quality. There are only two ways to really tell if olive oil is truly pure, without being "cut" with another oil (as most are now). One way is how it looks, tastes, and feels. This is dark, tastes amazing, has the correct viscosity, and slightly tickles the back of the throat, which is proof of high levels of Oleuropein - the compound that makes olive oil so good for you. The second way is that it comes with a certificate of compounds in the oil. This passes both tests, and did I say it tastes amazing? That bears repeating! This is worth every penny. In fact, I would say it's a bargain!

I really like the quality of this oil and the idea behind it. But I’ll be honest — drinking it straight is almost impossible, the taste is extremely strong and burns the throat. My solution was to mix it with MCT coconut oil, and that actually made it much smoother and easier to take. Fun fact: studies show that MCT oil helps the body absorb polyphenols and other active compounds more efficiently, so you’re not only cutting the harsh taste, but also boosting absorption. Now it works fine for me, and I still get the benefits without the harshness.

The flavor is incredible, I am always looking to try new olive oils as I use it for the health benefits and seek out those with highest polyphenols. I will be purchasing more of this !

I gave this olive oil a try and wow; the quality is amazing! It's packed with polyphenols, and it is great for everything from morning shots to drizzling over salads. It even helped with inflammation; the taste is a wild ride, it bites back with serious bitterness! I knos it's healthy, so I take a tablespoon on empty stomach every morning.

For me it's medicine, not food. I find the flavor horrendous, and have to chase it with something strong-flavored enough to wash the taste (which is something like green grass with pepper but worse) away. But people with less sensitivity to bitterness might like it. This might be my last bottle, since I don't know how to tell if it's helping my health or not. What would one measure to find out? Anyway... In English we say "There's no accounting for taste." The ancient Romans said "There's no arguing with taste." The Russians say "In taste and colors there are no friends."

QUALITY COSTS. I was duped into buying another olive oil that stated it had 1,200 polyphenols. Should have known, the price didn't reflect The quality stated. If you take a swig of olive oil that claims to be over a thousand polyphenols and do not have a peppery aftertaste, you've been lied to. This product is amazing, a great deal for the amount you get and definitely has that pepperyend note.
