Decent build but really poorly designed
Pros:Knives are sturdyThey are pretty well balanced (about 1 1/4 inch above the bull)Very pretty knives and sheath (though the sheath is not designed for these knives.)Cons:Oh my blade geometry, the blade can only stick if you hit the top half inch when throwing otherwise it's waaaay too thick to stick. They made the flattened section at the top too steep of an angle to stick so you throw them more like axes than knives.Painfully dull blades, wktl doesn't usually ship very sharp knives but this is kind of ridiculous. It's straight up flat on the blade. You couldn't cut yourself if you were actually trying ( which means sticking them kind of sucks)Because of the design if you sharpen these you lose the best part of the coating which is the nice purple.Coating while pretty is not durable at all. After a couple of throws it was already coming off.Overall for 30 bucks I'd say they are OK, il probably modify them to make them better throwing knives since they can't be used in competition anyway, but if you wanted some fun throwing knives out of the box DO NOT buy these.Note: the right knife in the picture was thrown maybe 10 times and the coating is already gone, the left is brand new un thrown

Good throw, Not good for league
So this was a fun one for me. I've thrown a few knives before this one and have enjoyed the experience. This set was... interesting. Took quite a bit longer the learn than others, but once I got the hang of them, they were fun as heck. Heavy-ish, but well balanced and easy to be consistent with. The major drawback here is they are not league legal. I was upset at first, but after re-reading the product description (I bought mine on the WKTL website) I realized my mistake. It's plainly written in black and white that this set is NOT LEGAL TO THROW FOR LEAGUE OR SANCIONED TOURNAMENT!!!Please don't make my mistake if you intend on competing. If you have no intention of competing, they're crazy fun, but a bit heavy.

NOT WKTL Approved!
These knives are odd ones to throw, they are very heavy and have a large portion of the blade that can stick, but it often leads to a portion of the blade hitting and falling out. Most important however is the fact that these are not legal for a WKTL match, so you cannot use them for that function. This is mostly likely due to the fact that if you did get your rotation right, then your blade could cover 5 inches of the target. So don't buy these for actual league play.
