Once I had my fingerprint set up logging in, both to my machine and my password manager, worked faultessly. Unfortunately the scroll wheel was defective which made it not so good as an actual mouse. However, FeinTech support responded to my email within a couple of hours and suggested the device was faulty. The drivers are not standard with Windows 10. After 10 days it then developed a fault and it flashed up momentarily that this latest USB device was incompatible with Windows. It disappeared from Device Manager. I tried again and got it to work again, but unless it was a pure coincidence, my Bios altered Boot up from UEFI to Legacy mode. I then had trouble booting the computer until I could get back into the Bios to change it back.
