Years ago my barber would use a brush with a dab of talc to brush the hair from the back of my neck after a shave. I was looking for a similar experience now that I do my own hair and face shave so I purchased this brush. This brush is much softer that the old brush I remember my barber using and at first I was not sure but this brush was too soft but after using this a bit I find the size and softness PERFECT for applying talc to my neck and face, head or any place I may need a bit of powder. If I was a pro barber and in need of a brush to get the hairs off a neck quickly, a larger, much harder brush may be a better choice but for home personal use I think my softer brush is perfect and a better choice! I am very happy with this purchase and makes for a most enjoyable finish to my close shave!

This item is terrific for the intended purpose, removing loose hairs, when I cut hair at home, which I do regularly. Bristles are super soft, and do not seem to shed much so far. The wooden handle is also attractive. Price is very good. I also have other items from this manufacturer, and I am pleased.

The handle is wood and attaches well to the brush bristles, not made cheaply. The bristles are very soft and to me, non-synthetic or plastic like. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's horse hair. I use it for cleaning remaining cut hair that will stick to my skin. It takes the hair off REALLY well. I'm very sensitive to cut hair remaining on my skin which would cause me to itch. I like to cut my hair to a NO-GUARD level, very short. If it can remove short, spiny hair easily, it would definitely work on longer or softer hair. I highly recommend this product and it's refreshing afterwards!

Brush bristles are very soft and i like that it can stand up on its own when not in use. Its used to apply talc powder to face and nech which it does very well. It is a bit larger than i would like but will do for my purposes. Easy to use with the durability TBD as the item is newly aquired.

As many others have done during this pandemic, my husband and I have started cutting one another's hair. About the third time we did this, I said, "If we're going to keep doing this, we need one of those brushes to get rid of all those bothersome hairs." I looked at several brushes before settling on this one, and I'm glad I bought it. It's nice and big, and the bristles are very soft, but effective in brushing hairs off our necks. It's a great brush, and I highly recommend it.

If you use talc this is THE brush to get!!!

I purchased this for my son, who cuts my hair, and he likes the sturdiness and grip. For an old guy like me, it's soft and wisks away the hair that sticks to the neck.

Oh, I wish I had bought one of these years ago. Easy to use, gets all the loose hair off neck and shoulders, and easy too just shake it clean. A must-have for those who cut their own hair.
