Excellent cooling fan!
I recently purchased a Steam Deck after doing intensive research, which led me to purchase this cooling fan to prevent potential issues with overheating. It arrived quickly and already charged, so I was able to test it out immediately. It fit on my SD perfectly, with no risk of it falling off and breaking like some of the other, cheaper fans I considered purchasing. I use it at the highest level at all times to get maximum cooling, and on average, it cooled by about 10 degrees. I could feel a difference through touch, especially when playing larger games (which is where overheating issues come into play according to the multiple accounts I read when looking into the SD), and I haven’t had a single issue with overheating since purchasing this fan. It is slightly loud (I took a video of the fan on its max setting, keep in mind it does sound a bit louder on video than in person), but it doesn’t bother me one bit, especially when you consider that fans are gonna make some noise if you want them to properly cool off your device. I usually play with a headset on, but on the rare occasions that I’m not using one, the SD is more than loud enough to allow the fan noise to fade into the background. Again, it doesn’t bother me at all, and it’s not as loud as some other cooling fans are. The charge lasts a super long time. I actually fell asleep a few hours while playing a game (I know, I know), and my SD was dead while the fan was still cooling away, even after having used it for a few hours already before falling asleep. Something that may bother some people is where the charging port is (I actually prefer it being exactly where it is), but if it’s an issue, there is a 90 degree charging adapter included. It takes a C-type charger, so if you’re like me, your probably have a million of those cords lying around, but if you don’t, it does come with a charging cord that fortunately is more than long enough to use it while it’s charging (way too often the included cord is barely long enough to reach from the port to the block). Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for! The price was within my budget, and its performance is excellent. There could be a couple things that bother others, but they’re relatively small issues that don’t bother me at all. I would definitely recommend purchasing one if you’re looking for a good quality cooling fan for your Steam Deck!

Keeps my Deck cool it definitely works...
So I had googled if a fan was recommended for the Steam Deck and it said no because it would interfere somehow and not help. I guess it applied for other fans because this on definitely gets the job done. I got my Steam Deck recently and I do not regret it one bit. Amazing machine only issue is that it would get very hot and would blow out nothing but hot air and hot to the touch. Ever since I placed this fan is super cool and hasn't heated up one bit! And only blows out cool air. I definitely recommend this fan if you want to keep your Deck cool and avoid damage from overheating. A must buy for your Deck and best of all it fit nicely and without a problem with my silicone case as you y'all can see in the pictures. Many people have complained but don't understand why. And you can charge it while using it and charge lasts long and has a fan speed setting and also a stand which I find very convenient. Don't wait for your Deck to overheat and get damaged, get this fan now.

Perfect
Works exactly as I needed, stays charged for a good while and the noise isn't terrible.

A little touch of greatness.
The easy installation, and functionality of this cooler made it 10x easier for anyone to use. I will admit that the fan itself does make a good amount of noise, and also looks kind of bulky on the back of the Steam deck. However, even with all of that craziness aside, the item cools the Steam deck significantly and shows improvement when running high end games.

Great design.
This fan cools the Steam Deck much more efficiently than the internal system fan alone. When playing more graphic intensive games, my Steam Deck would get hot, and I worried that it may malfunction at some point. This fan not only solves that problem, but goes beyond, making the Steam Deck actually cool to the touch! The design choice to make it completely autonomous, with it’s own power supply, completely eliminates a power drain on the deck and negates any possibility of contributing to a system malfunction. So far, the battery life is great, and outlasts the Deck’s charge over 5 times. The fan is pretty quiet and only noticeable when turned up high. FYI, the control is analog, which is another great design choice, so you can completely control the air flow. I am confident that this fan will actually extend the life of my Steam Deck.

Worth it!
We dont have AC this summer as our AC broke down. The heat has been making it hard for our consoles to stay cool, but my Steam deck gets so hot its uncomfortable to touch the back. Its been effecting its performance. After I started using this cooler I can run games like Warhammer Space Marines 2 or Red Dead Redemption 2 for hours and the steam deck still stays cool! The installation is quick and easy, just clamps on, lines up pretty easily with no effort. Noise can be loud, but as far as a fan goes, honestly is exactly what you'd expect. You can turn the speed up ridiculously high, I haven't found a need to run it on its full speed, but if you need it, the power is there. It is well built and durable, and has made a day and night difference for my favorite console!

MASSIVE DIFFERENCE - Buy it now!
I’m editing my review to give some actual numbers. I bought this fan to help with my performance when playing Bethesda’s Starfield. I ran a temperature test in the location known as “The Lodge”, as it was an enclosed space that would not be extremely taxing on the CPU and GPU like going outside would be, which allowed for higher frame rates. In short, this fan is essential. Make sure to use the 90° charging port adapter. ||| IMPORTANT NOTE - RESULTS ARE NOT 100% PRECISE AND ARE GIVEN IN A RANGE. ALL TESTING WAS RAN WITH FAN AT MAXIMUM SPEED. FAN AND STEAM DECK WERE BOTH PLUGGED INTO A POWER SOURCE AT TIME OF TESTING. However, the results do NOT differ when the Steam Deck and fan go off of internal battery power vs the wall outlet. ||| DEVICE: Steam Deck MODS: No Other alterations to the game files: No Other changes: Framerate limit set to 60 FPS on the Deck. Performance Overlay level of 3 used for monitoring temperatures/general performance. SETTINGS: • FOV at maximum (110°) • All display settings set to “Low” setting, but overall preset is “Custom” due some tweaks, which are noted below. • Dynamic Resolution on • Render Resolution Scale 100% • Motion Blur off • VSync on • Upscaling - FSR2 • Sharpening 20% • Enable VRS on • Film Grain Intensity 0.00 • Enable Depth of Field on Temperature range was found to be similar regardless of the room my player was in while in “The Lodge”. Also, player movement appeared to have little to negligible effect on the temperatures when using the fan in “The Lodge”, but there was noticed difference when the JSAUX fan was not used. AVERAGE FPS Fan: 37 FPS No Fan: 37 FPS NOTE: The Lodge is an enclosed environment, so thermal throttling was not going to be likely with or without the fan. Going into a more densely populated area, such as outside the doors into New Atlantis, may show a significant FPS difference. I did not check that variable. ___________________________ IDLE WITH JSAUX FAN ON GPU Temp - 67°C-69°C CPU Temp - 62°C - 64°C ___________________________ IDLE WITH NO JSAUX FAN GPU Temp - 79°C-80°C CPU Temp - 77°C - 79°C ___________________________ MOVING PLAYER WITH JSAUX FAN ON GPU Temp - 68°C-70°C CPU Temp - 62°C - 64°C ___________________________ MOVING PLAYER WITH NO JSAUX FAN GPU Temp - 79°C-82°C CPU Temp - 77°C - 80°C ___________________________ FINAL THOUGHTS While my testing lacked the crucial thermal throttling stress testing, the temperature difference alone means thermal throttling (and therefore dips in performance) will be far less likely. Using these fans will make a noticeable difference in thermals, which results in less stress on the Steam Deck’s fans, CPU, and GPU. Buy this now!

Does exactly what I expected it to do.
I got this JSAUX fan to give my Steam Deck's internal fan a little bit of a break. The Steam Deck's fan now spins 1000rpm slower and doesn't sound or feel like the bearings are failing anymore. The JSAUX fan keeps my Steam Deck around an average of 10°C cooler. I don't use this fan without it being plugged in because the battery will drain sooner than I'd like. I have an average of 7 hours of down time at work, and my Steam Deck is on the entire time. I don't know how the fan plastics will handle drops and the little flap stand seems a bit flimsy. If you're primarily playing at a desk and not moving it around a lot, it should be fine. Just be very careful with it. I would like to see a revision 2 made out of aluminum, but with a padded side that makes contact with the Steam Deck so it won't scratch the plastics. The fan clips on very easily and the overall size isn't too ridiculous. The fan's design isn't too garish and I like how simple it looks. The main gripe I have is that silly USB-C port. The included 90° adapter is a must. The port is located in a stupid spot that makes things awkward when trying to plug in a cable. With the adapter, it looks like there's a risk of damaging the port from the extra sideways force from shoving a cable in there. Something to keep in mind is that this is a fan and it will make noise. There is no point in having it on anything other than the highest, noisiest setting if you want to see it actually cool your Steam Deck.

Works perfectly
I've only been using it for a few days, but thus far I am impressed. I've been testing it with Palworld, a game that makes my Steam Deck overheat like crazy, and it keeps the system at a workable temperature. I appreciate that it runs off its own battery instead of siphoning power off the Steam Deck. This means that it does not put a drain on the Deck's battery, and it can be used to cool down the Deck when it is powered off. For the most part, it is quiet. Unless you turn the knob up to the max, then you get some noise and vibration. But I think it can perform adequately at lower settings.
