Yikes.....
If you're looking for a step by step guide to making wine and starting a business, this is not your book. If you're looking for vague generalizations about wine making peppered with spelling and grammatical errors, then this is a great way to spend $13. I suspect that the previous reviews were all written by members of Alberto's family. Yikes...

A brief introduction only
It was an easy read, despite the numerous grammatical errors. It was not overly complex, or for that matter, informative. It provided a decent overview of the small winemaking process, though much more detailed and polished information is freely available from state university extensions and other sources. However, the price wasn’t terrible and it does share some of the business aspects that other sources didn’t share. It wasn’t a waste, but I was expecting more.

Intro to winemaking and sales
Good intro to wine making for just getting started hobbyists, maybe not so much for those that already have a vineyard that are starting into production. On the other hand, there was some good overview of information on getting into sales that made the book worth the read. Good thorough overview of things to look for and hints and advice.I wasn't really sure I'd enjoy reading it but I did! Author kept a conversational tone throughout and flowed through the topics in a manner that made sense. Now, I don't think you will start a million dollar winery from the info in this book alone (hence the 4 stars) but it is a good start to get the basic idea of what you will go through in the wine endeavor.

The information was so basic in every topic, there are seriously much better resources on wine making and the industry available for free in the Internet. I'd say the best indicator of the overall quality that went into making this was the clipart image of purple grapes that looks like it came from a children's coloring book. At least the Kindle version was really cheap when I bought it. The author could've tried a lot harder at putting something of value together, though I admire that he actually published something on his own. Overall, this book is pretty half-baked.

Undeveloped outline of generic thoughts
At its best moments this book provides very unpolished ideas too generic to provide any practical direction. At worst it provides wrong information making you question if the author has any expertise on the topic - For example the use of chlorine in winemaking or the suggestion on page 59 that proper care (which it does not define at all) and “you could get a vine to last for two to four years.” I wish Alberto the best & suggest he focus on the areas he truest knows & expand on those to provide useful information to his target audience.

Fell short.
This book was not instructionally deep enough to actually make wine, nor was the business aspect significant enough to learn how to make “millions”. Size 14 font, double spaced, 151 pages. Not what I was looking for.

AMAZING!
So wonderful. I had a hard time making wine before, but the book explains it in more ways then one and gives you a variety of options. My business has never been more successful.

Wikipedia is most accurate and thorough. Skip it.
One star because you can’t give zero. The author has no idea what he is talking about. He refers to “brewing wine” repeatedly and recommends using chlorine as a cleaner for wine equipment. I read this book from cover to cover and was embarrassed for the author all the way through.
