Hi Zoltan. I just got this shear and have not had a chance to use it much. I can tell you it does cut 18g silver sheet lke it was butter. Depending on your gauge of sheet or wire I am sure brass would be no problem. Check the specs, I think it saint it could cut up to 10g steel? This shear is a beast and am very glad I got it!

I never found one on there website and when I contacted them I found out that you can't even get a spare blade. You will need to take them in to a place that can sharpen tools.
