Eyebrow Microblading Savior
I recently had microbladeding / microshading done on my eyebrows and was given a&d ointment to apply for the healing process. I'm very much against using anything petroleum-based on my face since it is comedogenic and will clog pores. After some searching, I came across this tattoo butter and noticed how all the ingredients are natural oils and non-comedogenic. I decided to skip the a&d ointment and try this out instead.I used a q-tip to apply a medium thick layer of this tattoo butter to my eyebrows about two times a day and covered them with transparent tegaderm at night (I'm a side-sleeper and wanted to avoid destroying my left brow.)My brows healed within one week and I had No itchiness and very minimal flaking.I couldn't be happier with the results and the esthetician who performed my microblading was so thrilled at how well they healed when I went back to her for my 1-month follow-up.I'm also very happy that I can use this tattoo butter for other things besides my microblading. I like to apply a thin layer to my brows daily to keep them well moisturized. Since it is the shape of a giant lip balm, it's very easy to use all over my body as a general skin moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. This is now a standard part of my daily skin care routine and I will definitely be purchasing again!

Good product.
The ingredients discussed are decent. I didn't love the smell, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I was using it on my ankle, so maybe consider the smell if you're using it on something like your chest or hand. That being said, it seemed to work well. I didn't use anything on my first one, which was about a year ago (it was a small black-lined smiley so didn't seem necessary....oops!), and it's already sort of faded. I don't have that sort of timeline for the more recent one that I used this for. However, I can say it looks better pigment-wise than my smiley face did at this stage.

Nice stick form
This balm works ok. I like that it’s in a nice stick form… But I honestly can’t say it’s doing much other than moisturizing. The claims at helping with healing and preserving the colors… feel like claims. Years ago I rubbed a gardening ointment into a different tattoo that worked wonders. It contained calendula and aloe vera and other healing herbs… I could see and feel it protecting the tattoo and the ink still looks great. This one is fine… but doesn’t really compare.

Great aftercare
This balm glides on. It soaks in and does not leave a greasy feeling. It has a very slight scent. Promotes healing and works well on dry and irritated skin.

Nice little after care balm
I have used various tattoo aftercare and I really like this. I have not used this to actually heal a tattoo, but instead to take care of an existing tattoo. This is what I have observed:-I love how this applies. It is very light and airy. I do not need to get the balm on my fingertips; I simply screw off the lid (nice touch so it doesn't pop off and get dirty if/when dropped), roll up the balm, and rub onto my tattoo. I love this application process.-This has a very mild scent that I only notice if I'm trying to catch the scent.-This moisturizes well and makes the tattoo pop better than it did prior to application .I am comparing this to my personal favorite, the Tattoo Goo balm. I love the smell of it and it seems to provide better and longer enhancing effects of my tattoo. I have also used Tattoo Goo to heal a tattoo, but do not have that experience with this balm. I do prefer this application process to that of Tattoo Goo, however.Overall, I really like this balm. It is easy to use and it has a low odor which helps to not irritate a new tattoo, ideally. Though it is not my personal favorite, it is a close second and I will more than likely continue to order this.

Butter Balm
I recently received this butter balm, and I would like to share my thoughts on the product. Here's a detailed review:Pros:Color Enhancement: It enhanced the colors of my tattoo and my husband’s. The balm effectively brings out the richness of the colors, making the tattoos appear more vibrant and defined.Skin Moisturization: It effectively moisturized the skin, preventing it from becoming dry and flaky.Easy Application: Applying this is a straightforward and hassle-free process. It’s easy to spread evenly over the tattooed area.Cons:Greasy Texture: One downside that I observed is its greasy nature. While it effectively moisturizes the skin, it does leave a greasy residue. This can be a bit problematic, especially when coming into contact with clothing or other surfaces. For example, when I curled my arm around my husband's, my hand felt greasy afterward. Overall, if you prioritize color enhancement and skin moisturization and don't mind the greasy texture, this product can be a good option for taking care of tattoos.
