We bought this item dur to scare when we thought our dog had fleas. She had been scratchings a lot so we looked for a cheap flea comb to quickly give her a brush over to find any evidence of the little critters. We went for the cheapest option with this comb. I expected it to be low quality for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised, it arrived and felt robust and well made. It is an easy to use comb and has an ergonomic molded handle which makes using the comb comfortable. The teeth on the comb are at the correct spacing to pick up any potential critters your dog or cat may have. For a very cheap purchase I was very happy with this. Conclusion of the story was that the dog did not have fleas but this comb helped to settle our fears and was a very affordable purchase.Overall a comb which provides easy cleaning, is a great size with a comfortable handle which improves its versatility when using it to clean your pet.I would highly recommend purchasing this comb if you are experiencing a flea outbreak or just have fears your pet may have them as it helped to settle our nerves and prevent more anxiety.5* affordable product

Our cat stayed with friends for a short period of time and caught fleas from playing in their garden, this comb was amazing at removing live fleas as well as flea poop instantly! It's easy to use and my cat instantly felt relieved and much happier and I combed her before giving her a good bath.

Really effective but the prongs bend n break on 1st use ! so really not worth buying 🤷🏼‍♀️

Unlike several other combs I saw, this one has a white body. Makes seeing the fleas easier when they end up against the comb's handle. This comb seems precise and robust enough for the job. Best used with a bowl of hot water. Otherwise, catching and killing them can be hit and miss, particularly if they are lively. I use this comb on a short haired dog. I don't try to comb too much fur through in one go and hold the comb at 45 degrees to the skin. This seems the most effective method. If you lose the element of surprise, the fleas panic, scarper and live to bite another day.
