Gulping to enjoying his food
This bowl works great. We have a diabetic dog that thinks he has to eat everything in one gulp. This slows him down tremendously and I’m thinking it’s helping with his digestion. He seems to enjoy his food and not act like he is starving even after he has ate.

No more gobbling food down
This slows your dog down from gobbling his food. But it’s definitely puppy size so remember that one purchasing.

wonderful
It is great. It usually takes my 85 pound, 13 year old dog to (gulp) eat in 2 minutes, it took 7 minutes both times for him to eat with this bowl. I wish I found it years ago.

Slow feeder dog bowls
I have a Labrador and a German Shepherd who race to eat their food. These bowls are great at slowing them down. They are made of a sturdy hard plastic and come in a variety of colors. Definitely a steal for the price.

Great idea
This bowl was suggested to me by a friend that fosters dogs. She said it helps the dog eat slower which is healthier. It works very well. Might need to be a bit heavier. My dogs can move it with no problems while he eats. Otherwise very pleased.

Less stress at dinner time, it works!
I have a 101 pound German Shepherd that could literally polish off 2 cups of food in about 22 seconds (yes I timed him). Naturally I stress over him inhaling his dinner and bloating. The first time I gave him dinner in this bowl, it took him a little over 4 minutes to finish. Now he averages about 3 and a half minutes. If I want to slow him down some more, I press wet food into the bottom and then press his dry on top of it. For really big dogs like him, it could probably be a little deeper, but this is a decent size and it should work well for most dogs. This bowl holds exactly 2 cups of food and it has rubber feet that help keep it from sliding around when the dog eats. That said, my big boy can still push it around so I've found it works better on carpet or a rubber mat.Cons:-If you don't have a dishwasher, it can be a little difficult to hand wash. That said, nearly all slow feeders are a little difficult to wash. It's the trade off for this type of bowl.-It's made of plastic which is easy to scratch and can harbor bacteria, but if you clean the bowls after each use this isn't much of a concern.-If you have a puppy and don't monitor them with this bowl, well...it's plastic and light weight. They can and will chew it up.At this price, I would absolutely purchase these bowls again in the future.

Great value. Easy to clean & stays in place!
The bowls seem to be of good quality plastic and are easy to clean. I put mine in the dishwasher and they're holding up well. The rubber feet help keep the bowl from sliding around the floor and the curved plastic allows my dog to get all of the kibble pieces without any getting stuck in a crevice. These bowls were true to size, maxing out at 2 cups of kibble. They are a little smaller than I'd like, but they do their job as intended and would work great for pets who eat smaller quantities at mealtime. My dog prefers his kibble topped off with water like a bowl of cereal, so I can only put 1.5 cups of kibble in at a time or else he'll make a mess. He eats 3 cups each meal, so I end up filling the bowl twice per feeding. Not too big a deal, but something to keep in mind if you have a larger breed or add any toppings to your pet's food.I like the two pack because I am able to use fresh bowls for morning and evening meal times and then pop them both in the dishwasher overnight. They also stack together nicely minimizing required storage space! I recommend these puzzle feeder bowls, especially for small and medium size breeds. The price is right and they seem like they will last!
